Just a little educational post - I’ve seen a lot of great young trainers catching flack for roping their horses feet during controlled training sessions. This is not cruel or mean. This is to teach the horse to stay calm if they should ever become tangled in something like fence or barbed wire.

Here’s a prime example of one of our seniors hung up in a hose - we avoided injury because she didn’t panic. Just sat there and waited for us to come get her out. This is why we rope them during training sessions!

We are SO happy to announce our ambassador dogs!

Below find pictures of the beautiful babies!

Anna is one of the smartest and most loyal
Dogs I’ve ever owned. She’s
Extremely expressive and is an amazing service dog.
I don’t know what I would do without her. She’s literally saved my life multiple times. She’s my world.

Photo 2-
Dougal is a red/white Border Collie (split face). He is an Owner trained service dog with help from several trainers and groups. He and I have been working as a team since 2021.

Here is a great picture of Sam which shows his ever ready to play character. He has been raised with a ridiculous amount of love. Training has been pretty easy since he’s SMART. He loves to go with me wherever I go and is a great traveling truck dog (in the cab of course). He loves people and other dogs but is really offended by dear coming into his yard. He’s all about play and running! Sammy is not quite 2 yrs old.

Did you know:
If you have a pacemaker, you can put it in your Will to have your pacemaker donated to a dog in need after you pass. Pacemakers cannot be donated to another human, but they can be donated to dogs with cardiac issues who would depend on it to stay alive.
You can have the pacemaker brought to a vet of your choice. So many of those get thrown away and dogs die because people don't know they can do this. It even saves the dog's owner the cost of the actual pacemaker which sometimes means the difference in being able to afford lifesaving treatment or not.

***Edit:
There are limitations for donating a pacemaker such as age of the device and state of the battery. Although requirements may vary per location, you can contact your local Veterinary Cardiologist for more information.

Unpopular opinion

Some people just can’t handle others success.

At a horse show today some of our kiddos placed in all of their events, on horses deemed to be “too dangerous”

I find it really sad that people have to be so negative over one experience. Horses are always learning and always need to be tuned on.

I really can’t believe the amount of energy that went into targeting the girls today. 🙄🙄

I can’t say I’d want my kids to learn to ride from a 4h leader that doesn’t think a horse can change and who allow her crew to mock and talk negatively to others all day.

We had a great day, and we will continue to improve while those who appear jealous stay stuck where they are.

The results show the work!
