Agility is on Hold for a bit while we move to the new property!!!

OK here is a short synopsis of property progress. Since I am doing fundraisers- I want you to know where the funds are going. This is the update since we got the permit- the next update will be starting after this post.

800 ft of PVC pipe laid to bring water to the agility yard and obedience yard,

5 days of tractor work to scrape, pull tree roots and start to level both obedience and agility.

Posts in for Obedience yard.

1000 ft of drip line to all the new trees/plants (most required by the county to screen and act as a sound buffer)

10 LARGE mulberry trees planted
10 medium Willow Trees planted
10 Lavender plants
2 rosemary plants
6 LARGE Red Leaf Plum Trees
4 LARGE Maple
2 Chinese Pistache
3 California Pepper

Work has started to build a retaining wall on the east side of the agility yard and put in the posts for fencing.

Next goals- Phase 2 To be Completed this year
Once container permit is finalized- get storage containers moved on to property- this is HIGH PRIORITY to prevent theft of equipment we will be moving over.
Add boundary/fence to Obedience yard
Finish retaining wall and get posts and fencing in for agility
Build walking bridge to other side of ravine

Phase 3- Aiming for next Spring but will start early if we get enough funds in to make it happen.
Start to grade and clear for Barn Hunt Area, start permit process to put in enclosed carport similar to our current set up
Start grading pool area
Trench in PVC to to pool area and BH area- Approx another 1000 ft
Purchase and plant new trees for pool and barn hunt area

I will keep you all posted as we progress- this next phase will be a bit time consuming so updates my come a bit slower.

Thanks to Melanie Smith Contreras for setting it up! Save your old sneakers to send in for recycling and they donate a portion back to us!!

Good news!!! Sold my flat bed trailer and now we can pay off the rest of the county fees!!!

I am going to be clearing out some folding metal crates. I have a Yorkie size to doberman size. Lots of sm/med. I do not have measurements on everything- I will schedule a day for you to come see them if you are interested. I may bring some to the Oct 15th fundraiser

ATTN High Desert Dog Sports Supporters-

This was an old post, but since people want to play- Let's do it again!!!

Virtual 50/50 raffle! we will draw Monday, September 4th, after our NADD Trial LIVE here on Facebook.

OK guys!!!
Our first fund raiser starts now- Help us build our new High Desert Dog Sport facility!!!

Virtual 50/50 raffle!!!!

Here is how it works!!!!!

Tickets are $5 each. Comment here how many tickets you want , your dog's name (that will be on the tickets) and send your money via zelle- once the money is in I will put your name on the raffle tickets and post a photo.

Anyone in the country can participate!!!! Share with all your friends!

You have until 6pm Aug 31st to buy your tickets! I will let everyone I will post pics of your tickets ON YOUR COMMENT in the order I rcv them. I will keep on top of it as much as I can - but remember- I am not always on the computer so I will do it as I have a chance.

Winner will be announced Aug 31st 8pm, live if I can figure it out lol, and winnings will be sent via Zelle within one hour.

Again ......... WOW!!!! THANKS TO ALL IF YOU WHO CAME AND SUPPORTED THE CANINE CARNIVAL AND MY AMAZING FRIENDS WHO VOLUNTEERED
WE RAISED JUST OVER $3300.00!!!!!!! that is almost half way to applying for our official permit for the new property!!!!!
We are on our way!!!!!
This is officially our most successful fundraiser to date!!!

If anyone plays frisbee or teaches tricks that would like to help at our fundraiser- please let me know! I think it would be fun to have a frisbee try it area or maybe a small trick class that could help raise some money for the cause.

Any other ideas are welcome!

We can also really use some volunteers to help with the games etc.

Huge thank you to Cheryl and hubby for the gate donation and my neighbor for helping me put it up because i am too impatient to wait for Dave to get off of work.
We have an official gate!! Need a couple tweaks to finish it up but I am sooooooo happy!!!

County has stated we need to pave the road from HDDS_South to the nearest publicly paved road which is Sheep Creek- estimate $975,000.

Sure hope we get that variance!!!

I went ahead and set up a crowd funding page on donorbox- fees are supposed to be cheaper than gofundme. I will be adding anything we raise to the total on Donorbox so we all can see where we are.
