My babies are getting so old 🥹

Hermie (white) is almost 15 and Lulu is about 13.

The last of the OG Pepper's place buns 💜

We got Lulu when Pepper passed away and his bonded mate Jude went into a deep depression. We thought he would die of heartache, and wanted to get him a new friend fast, so we adopted Lulu as an owner surrender through Tribbles Rabbit Rescue in 2018. Lulu came to us as a 7 year old girl looking for a new home, and was a great friend to Jude until he passed a few years ago.

Hermie was a phone call in 2015 from Lori Mills asking me to check on a bun who was found by a landlord whose tenants had moved out and left him behind. I brought him home and told Ziva that we were NOT keeping him. He was adorable and would be easily adopted and we already had 6 other bunnies, but Ziva fell in love with this sweet boy who quickly bonded with our sassy angora Sadie. Sadie passed a few months before Jude, and Hermie and Lulu found comfort in each other after having lost their mates. They've been bonded for a few years and are best friends in their old age.

My senior buns absolutely LOVED their samples of second cut Timothy hay with clover and spring mix from Farmer Dave Pet Supply! It was gone within 15 minutes.

This fundraiser is for one of our regular boarding bunnies, Connie. 🥺💜 We helped her bond with her mate Chaos, and her humans are the nicest people!

We have had the absolute privilege of being entrusted with several hundred (!!!!) of your precious fur babies over the past few years. Some buns have unique names (like Lady Pipsqueak, Rino, Pickelette, Shashi, and Neebi). However, we also see lots of duplicates! Can anyone guess the number one male and number one female names? Collages of the buns that have these names are below!!

We are so happy to share that Lolli found her forever home! She matched perfectly with a cute little jersey woolly named Baloo, and is living the best life with him and an amazing bun mom and dad. Congratulations Lolli!!! 💜🥰💜

Even though we are not a rescue, we often get calls about abandoned, rescued, or owner surrender bunnies that need homes. I got two messages today, one of which was from a woman with young bunnies that she is trying to get placed from an accidental litter. None are spayed or neutered.

She has tried contacting a number of rescues in the area and no one will take them. She's trying very hard to find good homes for them.

Are you willing to foster (or adopt) one or more of these babies? I currently have two fosters and don't have space right now, but even if you can only take one temporarily I may be able to take them once I get mine adopted.

If you have any room, please consider helping to foster one of these cuties. If you need supplies, I may be able to help, at least for a few of them. I can definitely provide hay and food, and have a few extra pens and litter boxes. I'm worried because these babies will be old enough to start having babies of their own very soon. 🥺

We have two beautiful female bunnies looking for new homes!

Daisy (tan and white Netherland dwarf) is about 5 years old. Like many Nethies, she has a good bit of personality. She'd be a potential match for a bunny who is more submissive and willing to let this little lady be in charge.

Lollipop ( Lolli for short!) is a sweet senior bun at 7 years old. She's possibly an angora, lionhead, or Jersey Wooly mix. She's very docile and submissive and would get along with just about any bunny willing to be friends with her. Because she is a senior, we are looking for a special home for this fluffy beauty. Her fur needs to be brushed occasionally and she needs the fur around her eyes trimmed so she can see, but she's relatively easy to care for compared with other fluffy buns!

Both bunnies are spayed and available as solo buns or can be bonded. If you are an approved adopter and your bunny is a match, Pepper's Place Bunny Boarding and Bonding will help you bond the buns free of charge! 🥰
