Cora is the perfect kitten. I'm so sad she had to go back into quarantine when she just got out. At least she has a friend and hopefully, she won't develop ringworm.

Everyone was bathed using lime sulfur today, and they'll continue to be bathed with it every 3 days for a minimum of 2 weeks. After the two weeks, I like to switch to an antifungal shampoo twice a week (unless the ringworm is severe or still glowing) for the remainder of treatment. Lime sulfur stinks, but it is the ONLY proven topical treatment that sterilizes the fur to prevent further ringworm growth and reduces the number of spores spread into the environment.

I couldn't do any of this without my best friend and Charlie's Army board member, Cam. Especially today where I have been one-handed thanks to a bad cat bite I sustained yesterday.

I would love to find a foster for my tabby twins. They've been in their incubator since arrival so have not been exposed to ringworm. They're outgrowing their little bubble and would love more space to explore and be kittens.

They do eat 3-4 times a day and will need a baby wipe cleanup afterward since they get a little messy. They're using their litter box and are super sweet babies. 6 weeks old. Supplies can be provided as needed. Located in Philadelphia PA. Charliesarmy.com/foster

I am not okay right now. Not at all. Not just because I found ringworm on Pancake and Meg tonight after we just started putting things/my apartment back together (and let Cora and Batman out), but also because there was an extremely traumatic event on Sunday and because my Dad has been hospitalized for over a month and will never be the same again. Everything feels like it's just one thing after another and I am so tired. I rarely post like this, but this has been the most exhausting and traumatic year and I just want a sense of normalcy and happiness again.

I need help. I have to start all over again with ringworm cleaning and treatment. Somehow something got missed. Everyone has to be dipped. Everything has to be disinfected again. Our little FIP warrior, Batman, is doing well. He's eating (and gets so excited for food that he scales my body the second a can opens), is more active, his belly is smaller and he has no more awful diarrhea. He will have his first check-up this week and will soon be heading back to foster with his two siblings.

We are very bright-eyed and active this morning - I even got lots of purrs 😍 He also started to eat on his own! These are awesome things that lead me to hope he will make a full recovery.

I'm still seeing some neuro things like head pressing, and there are times it seems he just sort of "checks out" mentally and I get a blank stare. Since he's already made progress, I hope these things improve too.

Such a cute little tabby ❤️ There's not too much to report. He spent most of the day being monitored at the vet - he received an IV of hypertonic saline since he sustained head trauma. Hypertonic saline can help restore blood volume and blood pressure, reduce cerebral edema, and improve oxygen delivery to damaged tissues.

For now, it's just about monitoring him/giving him time, and syringe-feeding (he's not currently eating on his own at all).

Hopefully, I'll find a name that feels right soon!

Little guy is with me ❤️ He's doing okay, and he isn't currently emergent, but will need to see our vet for evaluation ASAP. Based on the shelter notes, he has improved since this morning but there is some swelling on his forehead and behind his one eye. I just got him settled into a kennel with a heating pad and heartbeat stuffed toy, along with a camera so I can monitor him when I'm not in the room.

Hoping for the best for our new friend - please send him good vibes!

PLEDGES requested... A pledge is a promise to donate once the animal is in my care - please do not donate until then. This kitten has possible head trauma and isn't doing well. If I pull him, I need to be sure we have the funding for his initial care (which very well may mean taking him to the ER as I may not be able to get him into our primary vet right away).

If this post disappears, it's because another rescue pulled him.

Theo! Our little panleuk survivor is ready for a forever home ❤️ Theodore is most certainly an extrovert - he loves to be around people and other cats/kittens. His love language is definitely ‘PLAY’ - he would play all day if he could. He hasn’t been around dogs just yet but something about his kitty confidence and assertiveness makes his foster family think he’d be just fine. Theo truly wants to make friends with everyone - the more friends, the more buddies to wrestle and snuggle with!! Not everyone wants to be best friends at first though but that’s okay, Theo has very thick skin! He will keep trying and no doubt win them over with his athleticism and charm….right?

Theo is a curious kitty with a zest for life - the world is such an exciting place with so much to explore! When it's chill time, he loves to watch TV, especially anything with animals and Terrance Mallick’s ‘Voyage of Time’ as it turns out.

Theodore may just be the world’s most photogenic kitty - so you’d better start making some space in your camera roll. He’s such a pretty boy, with big, dreamy eyes that no matter how much occasional mischief he might get into you he will still have your heart.

Meet Gobbers!! ● Gobby is such a sweet and entertaining kitty. She has big, beautiful eyes that are very expressive. She's quite the communicator - from her squeaky meows when she’s hungry to her loud purrs and trills when being pet. She LOVES to be pet, chin scratches, cheeky scratches, head scratches — please don’t stop! Gobby is a playful kitty who loves to run around and pounce with her littermates, she's also good at playing independently as well. When she’s all tuckered out she loves to curl up and snuggle with her humans or another kitty.

Gobby is still working on her table manners - she gobbles up her meals like it’s an Olympic sport (yes, that might have something to do with the origin of her nickname!). But hey, can you blame her for being one of five in the litter?

She may be a little shy at first with new people but is quick to build trust. We don't think she'd do well in a household with a high-energy dog, perhaps an older or calmer dog. She is the cutest little baby yoda that has brought her foster family much joy and amusement.

FOSTER NEEDED... so we don't have to put him back outside after he is neutered and vaccinated tomorrow. We can't save them all, but we can try... if anyone can open their home to a big handsome orange boy, please reach out ASAP. And yes, after recovery, if no one can foster him, he will be returned outside. We hate it, too... but it's the harsh reality 😩

To learn more about Meg, please see the post before this one. Meg has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). CH has a wide range of severity and symptoms - Meg is mild. She has constant tremors that make her look like she's dancing or a little bobblehead, but she is coordinated enough to walk, run, jump, and climb. She can also eat without any assistance or mess. Meg is seeking her forever home! See my previous post for more info.

I think it's fair to say I just can't resist a tabby 😍 welcome to these sweet babies! Thank you to Kolony Kats for facilitating their rescue! Boy/girl pair... leave some name suggestions!
