🌈🌈🌈 RAINBOW PAW UPDATE - POP 🌈🌈🌈

Today our hearts are broken; little Pop has left us. Such a special little one, Pop came to us emaciated and broken. He had been discarded like yesterdays news. Time, love and groceries made all the difference and gave Pop years of joy. Sadly, as is always so true, forever was just out of reach. You will be so missed little one; fly free.

As is tradition in rescue, DRBC will darken it's page today in memory of Pop and the phenomenal gifts of love he brought. Godspeed Pop; know you went with so much love.

💔💔💔 RED PAW ALERT - ADDIE 💔💔💔

Meet Addie. This beautiful little wheaten wire haired girl has been afflicted with IVDD [Intervertebral Disc Disease], every doxie owners worst nightmare. We received a call asking for our help from the Pittsburgh area and learned she still had deep pain sensation. The clock was ticking and with the help of Pilots for Paws she was on her way to us for lifesaving treatment. Sadly, we were outside of the surgical window for this little girl, but the battle just takes a different turn as we work to give Addie a great quality of life.

🏥🏥🏥 DRBC DIABETIC FUND 🏥🏥🏥

Hi Gang! Our spokespup Turk was dressed as a bunny recently and is back to ask for your support. He is one of our sanctuary diabetics and he has come a long way with the right care. You know, we are seeing more and more diabetic senior doxies coming into DRBC these days.

We love to help, but it is sooo expensive. Yesterday we ordered 18 bottles of insulin at $55 each, ouch, there goes $1,000 🙁.
