🤎🤎🤎 FOUNDATION ALERT - THE KIDS 🤎🤎🤎
Every now and again we have the opportunity to activate the DRBC Foundation and make a difference in the life of a family in need. Such is the story of little Babz and Buddy. Their Mom lost everything and while a plan was in place, there was nowhere for these two to go except a shelter separating them from their family forever. Heartbreaking 💔

They got got lucky. We took them into our Foster/Foundation Program on a temporary basis, updated their veterinary care and are keeping their Mom in the loop every step of the way. We long for the day that they will be reunited!
Today Buddy and Babz need a new place to rest their heads until Mom can take them back. Can you help this adorable and loving pair. It would mean the world to them and to us.

Look who picked up a well deserved honor over at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital...our beloved Neurologist, Dr Eric Glass!! His level of compassion and skill are second to none. His success rate with IVDD is in the 98+% for. DRBC and we would trust no one else with our dogs. Thanks Dr Glass for saving so many! Check out the post and plz share 🙂

💙Feel Good Friday💙

Gus, a 5-year-old American Foxhound mix, presented to Red Bank with rapidly progressive weakness in both of his back legs. Within hours of his owner first noticing a problem, Gus was unable to move either hind limb and was in severe pain.

Our Neurology and Neurosurgery team, Drs. Glass and Sheen, acted immediately. An emergency MRI revealed a severe intervertebral disc herniation causing significant compression of Gus’s spinal cord.

Without hesitation, Drs. Glass and Sheen rushed Gus into surgery and performed a delicate, lifesaving hemilaminectomy to relieve the pressure on his spinal cord.

Just 10 days after surgery, Gus is already back to his old, goofy self—running around despite doctor’s orders! Here he is with Dr. Glass, and the smiles on both of their faces say everything.

We are thrilled with Gus’s recovery and so grateful to see him feeling like himself again. Gus is deeply loved by everyone here at RBVH, and we couldn’t be happier for him and his family. 🐾💙

🏥🏥🏥 DRBC DIABETIC FUND 🏥🏥🏥

Hi Gang! Our spokespup Turk is all decked out for the Holidays and is back to ask for your support. He is one of our sanctuary diabetics and he has come a long way with the right care. You know, we are seeing more and more diabetic senior doxies coming into DRBC these days.

We love to help, but it is sooo expensive. Yesterday we ordered 18 bottles of insulin at $55 each, ouch, there goes $1,000 🙁.
