Just a few from our latest herding lesson.
Blitz (black) has recently gotten her HT title and Kyxx (gold) needs one more leg for hers. Bounce (merle) just came along for the ride to see what she would do with sheep - the answer isā¦. Nothing š¤£
We have an absolutely amazing litter planned with Kyxx this fall/winter, so feel free to reach out if youāre interested! They will be beautiful dogs with stellar temperaments and the ability to do it all ā¤ļø
Well - we havenāt had a litter since early 2021, so I think itās time we start talking about one!!
We are planning a litter with Kyxx this fall! The stud is 99% decided on. I wonāt make a public announcement until they have been bred (and possibly not until pregnancy is confirmed), but if you are seriously interested in getting on the list, I am happy to talk with you and I will disclose who he is then. His pedigree is LOVELY!!
We are expecting stunning do it all type of dogs. Herding, obedience, agility, dock diving: you name it - they should do it!
I do have a list started, but since I place puppies based on the best match, I donāt limit the number of people on my lists - so please feel free to reach out if youāre interested!
Iām a little delayed with posting - but I have the OFA results for Kyxx and Blitz!
Both girls have GOOD hips, NORMAL elbows, and NORMAL shoulders!!!
We have some breeding plans in the works for them, so feel free to reach out if youād like to discuss future possibilities!
Last weekend Blitz and Kyxx had X-rays of their hips, elbows, and shoulders taken for their OFA scores. Everything looks beautiful!! Now we wait for the official ratings ā¦
So for a few months I was very low key thinking about letting Kyxx go to a co-own home. Someone whoās goal was sports and herding that had the time to devote to her. A friend of mine clicked with her and has been taking her to agility classes and herding lessons and they are blowing me away their progress. We made it official a few weeks ago, and I figured we should make it public.
So please welcome Emma Aders to the DreamOn family!
Iāve been working on the dog room (paint still needs to change!)ā¦ Iām still looking for photos of dogs Iāve produced. Must be high quality (not blurry action shots) - Iāve gotten some, but the quality of them wasnāt good enough to have them printed. Here are a few photos the room so far!
DreamOn Cominā In Hot āSprocketā and his person, Alycia, started their agility career together today and went 5/5 with 3 first places and 2 second places!!
If you have a dog from me, Iād love to have some quality photos of them! Iām redoing the dog room and want to include your dogs! They donāt need to be professional photos, but they must be high resolution so I can have them printed and framed.
Enjoy this one of Vantage and Koenig that I stole from Taylor š„°š¤Ŗ
DreamOn View From the Top NTD HIC DMA āVantageā is now an UpDog CANADIAN NATIONAL CHAMPION!!!!!
Theyāve been having a very successful event, but everything came together for their Greedy round and they pulled out the win!
Congratulations to Taylor and Vantage!

Kyxx has been with our great friend, Tiffany Long, for a while now - and a few weeks ago she added a few letters to the end of her name. Together, they earned her Disc Dog Bronze (DDB) title! She is so close to her Silver, Kyxx has decided disc is not her sport, and since I wonāt push a dog to do something they donāt love, she will be focusing on agility moving forward!
If your dog loves frisbee, Tiffany offers āTrain and Trialā opportunities. Reach out if youāre interested and I can put you in touch with her! I highly recommend her!

Went herding today... Theory and Torque REALLY turned on - and this was just their first time seeing sheep š
Weāve been quiet here for a while. Weāre making changes within the program. Weāre also taking the year to be more present with our family as we feel thatās far more important than updating a page. We are still here and weāre happy to chat with anyone who reaches out! Enjoy this photo of Kyxx in the meantime
Breeding is not for the weak.
Breeding is hard.
Breeding can be exciting.
Breeding can be heartbreaking.
Breeding is not for everyone.
Due to unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances, we will not be having a litter this year. I am not ready to discuss it. (Shift is fine) Just know that it was not a decision that I took lightly. In fact, there have been many tears. This is a litter I have been looking forward to for almost 3 years. My family and my dogs are my entire life, and that wonāt change. But sometimes, our plans have to change even when we donāt want them to.
UPDATE - She DEFINITELY understood! She is in heat!!
Also check out these amazing photos Bonnie got from a session with Portraits by Tiffany
It looks as though Shift understood the assignment and is coming into heat already! Thanks, Shift!
Old Hempās Play Action! āBlitzā is the lucky lady who gets to go on vacation for a few months while Shift is here. She settled in so nicely, she already got to go on a field trip while Bonnie went on a judging assignment today. Iām so excited to follow along on all their adventures!
Legendary is looking for a new home.
Born here on 2/16/21 in our Myth x Grit litter. (Yes, heās a littermate to Swerve who everyone knows) He was purchased as a sport prospect with agility, dock, and disc in mind. He has been started in all of those and shows lots of promise. His owner has since decided to move to only herding and he doesnāt show any interest in sheep at this time, so she has decided to let him to go a sport or pet home. Heās on the small side for a male at 19.75ā and 32lbs, so heād fit into almost any home. He is medium energy and drive and would do well in a home where he can just let off some steam if sports isnāt your thing. He gets along with dogs, cats, and kids. New owner will need to sign a neuter contract with me.
**currently located in Alabama**
We are trying to place him from there so he doesnāt have to be passed around too many times; but we can get him to me in Illinois if needed as well.
Fun in the sun
Nice day to spend it outside! Puppies are 7 weeks tomorrow!!!
Eric and Kona (from the Myth x Toss litter) came to visit today!! I love being able to play with them after theyāve left! She is turning into quite a fun girl!
And I always think itās fun to see how many Myth kids I can get into one photo š

For anyone wondering what Shift is like to trainā¦ She has NEVER seen an Air Retrieve bumper until yesterday. She had a lessons this morning, then pulled out a 13ā grab at a trial. She just āgets itā; no matter what āitā is ā¤ļø She is doing so well with Bonnie - they are the perfect match!
Shift is officially one of the #1 senior dogs and is going to NADD Nationals!!! So proud of this homebred girl! Here she is jumping 21ā at Regionals last weekend ā¤ļø
Itās finally starting to feel like summer out there!! Weāve been keeping busy with lots of swimming and some agility. Weāre also looking at our plans for the next year or so š No details, yet - but we have some super exciting things in the works! ā¤ļø For now - enjoy this video of Swerve impressing everyone. Thank you Jessica!!
