We reached our goal! 🎉 Thank you all so much for helping us reach Leo’s goal. Because of you, we were able to drop off his PCR f***l sample today 🩵

And let me tell you, collecting a sample from liquid diarrhea was a fun challenge. Picture me with a tiny collection tube, trying to aim near his butt while everything expelled in every direction. A true test of love and reflexes 😂

But we did it, thanks to you. Now we can just wait for results and figure out the best next steps for his care.

Leo went to the vet today for two major concerns: his enlarged kidney and his chronic diarrhea. The good news? Our vet thinks his kidney is likely a congenital anatomical issue. His urine concentration looks great, which was a huge relief.

The diarrhea is the bigger concern.
He’s had it since before arriving at the shelter, he lost 2 lbs in about a month, and he’s clearly in pain when he tries to go. Even worse, he’s ravenous all day long, which tells us something deeper is going on.

The shelter’s basic f***l test came back negative, but we now need a full PCR f***l panel to figure out what’s happening.

The PCR test costs $325.89 and today's visit was $24 (a lovely donor donated directly to the vet's office so we paid the remainder), which makes it a total of $349.89.

Kiki is hands down the deepest sleeper in the entire sanctuary.
This boy snoozes so hard that he sometimes forgets he’s on a cat tree or that gravity exists.

He’s never hurt — just a little startled when he plops down, and then he goes right back to dreaming in whatever dimension he visits at night.
Honestly, I wish I could sleep even half as deeply as Kiki does😂😭

We’re teaming up with The OO7 PUB for our very first local fundraiser partnership!

Starting in December, they’ll donate $1 per pint every Saturday to help us care for our hospice and special needs Suncatchers.

This support means so much to a small sanctuary like ours, and we’re excited and grateful to step into community collaborations like this.

Phoenix got hail last night! 😳❄️
We’ve never seen anything like it, but sweater weather has officially arrived (even though I’m still somehow in a t-shirt during the day😆).

Aiko and Sienna have been extra snuggly with the chilly temps and I never get tired of seeing these two together.
Hope you’ve got a warm buddy nearby too ✨

Leo came to us with some serious kidney concerns, and we’ll be taking him to the vet next week to map out his care.

Meet Leo 🩵

We took this beautiful boy in from the Humane Society yesterday, and he’s settling in so sweetly. You’d never guess from the outside that he’s fighting some serious internal issues — we’ll share more about that soon.

For now, he’s safe, soaking up the sun, and getting to know each other one purr at a time☀️💛

The only time Joyce is sweet to me is when I’ve got a Churu in my hand, and that's okay.

I don’t know her full history, but I know she’s been through a lot.
She earned her boundaries and her sass, and she deserves a treat every. single. day. 🩷

Sometimes love looks like a Churu tube and I’m here for it ✨

Boop has officially made the bathroom her personal entertainment venue 😂

What should be a quick 3-minute bathroom moment
always turns into a 30-minute play session because she follows me in EVERY. TIME.

And I mean… who could say no to this cute face and wobbly body that gets so excited over a shower curtain? 🥹✨
