TORI ❤️
From her Mommy:
“This is what they do. Poetry in motion that I love watching. I have yet to get video of Tori running full out. When she does, all 4 feet leave the ground with front and back stretched parallel to the ground. She and Rogue are both so fast.”

From her Mommy:
“So I dug out the (supposed) level 3 treat puzzle today. No challenge for Miss Smarty. This was her first go. I have to find something a bit more challenging. Gotta love a smart, treat motivated Akita. While it makes her easy to train, as a typical Akita, sessions can’t be too repetitive or too long. Working on different skills each time, 5 minute sessions here and there throughout the day seem to work best to keep her motivated and to keep her from zoning out from boredom.”

From her Mommy:
“Nothing much new to report today, but this is what they do on and off all day. I saw Tori run at full speed today but by the time I got my phone out she had slowed down. At full speed she extends front and back like a Greyhound and all 4 feet leave the ground.”

From her Mommy:
“Today’s lesson was all about “wait”. No, we don’t blow through doors. We wait to be invited. No, it’s not your turn yet. You have to wait. Etc etc. She’s so smart and really picks things up very quickly. One day of “out of the kitchen” accompanied by the bang of an empty plastic milk jug on the counter was all it took and no more hanging out or running through the kitchen. Told “leave it” only 2 times yesterday when she charged the coop to watch the chickens squawk and flap and has left them alone since. She truly wants to please.
Today was also about fun. She and Rogue spent a lot of time playing chase in the backyard (first video) until the Chihuahua yelled at them to break it up (2nd video). Note how they immediately separated when hearing the voice of authority😂.
Tonight’s dinner, which I’m about to fix, is yummy (🤢) pork tongue and sides. Last night’s bedtime snack was a bully stick. Tonight’s will be pig feet since they’re having a boneless dinner.
We love her ❤️ Can you tell?”
