📢MOTION TO APPEAL EUTHANASIA DATE FOR JUDGE! - 8/25
🏛"THE COURT OF MCACC IS NOW IN SESSION!"🏛
8/25 deadline date...His sentencing is the worst of the worst!
😩I have a deadline!? Overruled! All rise for the apprehensive, but hopeful Judge! They are calling me Judge here, but to be honest I am being "judged". MCACC's current case against me, "flight risk" and "concerning behaviors".

🔎Exhibit A "INTAKE" marked as evidence: ...No history to report sadly.

😓The defense calls their first witness...The Handler, "evidence" presented below.

Exhibit B "HANDLER'S NOTES":
●"Extremely avoidant of leash & appears fearful of it" -When leash is presented, I retreat, dodge & panic by jumping up on my kennel walls. They "lasso'd" me so I could have an opportunity to check out the play yard. I apologize, I do freeze at first, and need some "gentle coaxing".
●"Cautious walker, Easily startled & spooked" -What can I say, this place is scary...and no one is able to justify why I am so fearful of leashes. It appears as if I had a traumatic past, but I am hoping we can work past it together!
●"Paces & pants in the play yard." -Well I am running around with a leash still attached to me, and I am really spooked by that so I apologize.
●During my time in the yard though, I couldn't really enjoy myself. I was pretty avoidant of the "Bailiff", and even "flinched and retreated" when they tried to pet me. I just really want to escape this prison, that is all I can think about. And when it was time to go back to those four walls, I couldn't help but resist going in. Wait! Can we try that all again!?

🙌But some other evidence has come to light! -"SUSTAINED!"

Exhibit C "HOPE":
●This Boy may be shy & nervous, but he had a wagging tail when he came to the shelter. A timid soul, that allowed all handling, with light restraint. They were able to leash, walk him to the kennel truck, and load with no issues! He also walked on the leash, to his own kennel. 😍
●Judge has been found standing in front of the kennel, with a "soft wagging tail".
●He has sniffed the hand of his "Bailiff" through the gate, and even gave some kisses.🥰 He's shown a soft body, and at times allowed petting.
●When he has the courage, he accepts treats gently! 🩵

🫣The defense rests! My name may be Judge...but it is up to you, the jury, to decide if I am "guilty or not guilty" of my actions. Will you take the time to hear out my case, and provide me with a safe space? 🙏I REALLY need to decompress somewhere quiet. I just need TIME, but I won't get that here.

- NHO means “New Hope Only” & a rescue partner will need to step up for someone to foster.

Meet Trevor, a petite 11 lb, 6-year-old Chihuahua mix who was found wandering near the train tracks 💔. This little guy has been through a lot and is still learning to trust, but once given kindness (and a few hotdog snacks 🌭), he shows a sweet, comfort-seeking side — even trying to climb in laps for reassurance.
