Meet CATastrophic! This cutie was chosen as our Pet Of The Day. She was super happy to get her picture taken and she was very well behaved! She came with her adorable sister named Bacon. We wanted a picture of them together but Bacon was not happy about getting her picture taken. It's ok Bacon, we loved having you both!

It has been a busy week but we finally have time for our Pet Of The Day! Meet Tigger, this little cutie is known for stealing hearts! His mommy found him wandering the streets and in rough shape. She fixed this little guy up and decided to adopt him. Tigger loves to cuddle and is super sweet! He spent most the day on my lap! Who can say no to that face! Thanks for making our day extra special Tigger!

Veterinary Receptionist Duties:
- Greet and check in clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to clients.
- Maintain patient records and update client information accurately.
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks as needed.
- Process payments and handle financial transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software used in a veterinary clinic.

Veterinary Technician Duties:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals.
- Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and dental cleanings.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and treatments.
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedure

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a veterinary technician program or relevant experience.
- Certification as a veterinary technician preferred.
- Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Compassion for animals and their owners.
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively.
