Born 11/27/15, Died 05/27/2024. For exactly 8.5 years Mr. P brought love and light to our little family simply by being himself.

His passing has left a hole in our hearts; he will be dearly missed.

It is with a very heavy heart that I let you all know that Mr. Peabody is no longer with us. He was able to peacefully pass at home with the assistance of Dr. Elizabeth and Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice. He was exactly 8 1/2 years old today.
Philip and I want to thank everyone for all the love you showed our sweet Peepers. This page will remain active as we process the immense grief we are feeling.

We got some bad news from the vet visit today. Mr. Peabody has a large abdominal mass near his liver. These types of tumors are not uncommon; I have lost two pups this way in the past.
We are providing palliative care to keep him comfortable for as long as we have him.

Thanks to everyone for the love and support. We will keep posting updates.

Mr. Peabody has been under the weather for the past few days with loss of appetite, bloating and general discomfort. Vitals are normal so bloodwork and an x-ray are in order. Please keep him in your thoughts.

Mr Peabody loves his new bowl set from Fluff Trough. He's had raised bowls for years, but still gulped his food and water because his stubby face had to angle down. The Fluff Trough allows for easier access.
He highly recommends this product!
