The final two from the hoarding case VA 9 have been adopted. Bunny and APril we adopted together today. I am so excited for them and their new home.

We want to thank all our supporters and donations that made this all

It's looking like happy days for Lucero. As he fully settles into his foster home, his playful side is starting to show! Although Lucero won't be ready to meet his forever family for a bit (we're still working on improving his body condition and we'll need to get him a serious dental cleaning too), it's not too early to reach out to his foster mom if you're interested in this FANTASTIC little guy. Email Vanessa at [email protected] if you're considering adding this sweet boy to your home.

Lucero is enjoying an evening walk with his foster family. We received great news from the vet today after his visit and testing there yesterday. We're delighted to learn that despite his condition and apparent extended period of neglect, Lucero has no major health issues. He is heartworm negative! We're treating him for intestinal parasites, and we're expecting that to be fully resolved within 3 weeks. He'll need a serious dental once we get him to put some weight on, but for now, we can just enjoy life! 💙
