💓MEET MY PACK💓

✨Fluffy✨
Great Pyrenees🐾

Meet our livestock guardian and the oldest dog on the farm, Miss Fluffy. I got her as a Christmas present when I was about 10 and she will be 11 years old this fall! She has grown into a 120 lb gentle giant. She enjoys escaping from the goat pen from time to time to come sleep in the house or on the screened in porch. And although she’s never had puppies, she is definitely a momma. She has little toy bones that she “mothers”. She carries them around and lays with them as if they are nursing. Fluffy will look after and care for anyone or anything. I can’t take much credit for training her. I taught her to sit and lay down but she has taught me much more than I could ever think about teaching her. She has practically raised me. Her health is slightly deteriorating as she has trouble hearing and seeing sometimes (all completely normal with her age). Even though she’s aging faster, she’s still guarding her goats and her human family strong. She may not play a huge part in the training business but she may assist on occasion! I’ll cut her some slack as she does have a full time job she loves, protecting her goats!

We wanted to tell you guys a little about us, our mission, and what the goals we would like to accomplish in Scott County, TN. 🐾
———————————————
We are a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Animal Rescue who operates solely on donations.

Our county currently has no public shelter or rescue with a location; nor do we have an animal control. We are maxed out with rescued strays at the moment, & we desperately need a building to house these animals / continue to accept more. We are having to keep them at our personal farm & with fosters- but we have no more space at the moment.
———————————————
💫 Our name is inspired by one of our personal pets- Halo.

✨Halo✨ is a Great Pyrenees who is one of the guardian over our farm. What began as a typical goat/sheep farm quickly grew to have a variety of species- all who were saved from bad situations.

Any rescue that we have brought in & introduced to her, she has taken under her wing as her own. No threat comes close to her adoptees, and if they tried- Halo can take down a pack of coyotes on her own if their fence was ever breached. There are “No Lambs Left Behind” when she’s on duty- and that went for any of “her” creatures.

She is a protector, a nurturer, & a fighter for those who can’t defend themselves. Halo has continuously ensured a safe haven for any animal in need- hence why our rescue is named after her. 😇
———————————————
Our mission is to offer care & a safe haven for any animal in need. 🐾
This even includes:
•Birds
•Ferals
•Exotics
•Reptiles
•Equines
•Farm Animals
•Specia Needs
•Aquatic Species
•Wildlife Transport
•Aggressive/Reactive Animals
———————————————
💌Furthermore, helping the homeless & the pet owners that are struggling by temporarily housing/caring for their animals in times of need would be a great asset to provide to the community.

We all struggle sometimes, & need help to get back on our feet. This small act of love could improve or even save so many lives in need.
———————————————
🚨We would also love to work with our county’s first responders to aid in relief for animals in emergency situations.

This would offer Pick Up+Transport from scene of incident & temporary holding/housing for animals affected by (but not limited to):

🔺Owner Fatality/Hospitalization Due To:
-Vehicle Accidents
-Severe Weather
-Fires
🔺Loss of Home Due To:
-Fires
-Flooding
-Tornadoes
🔺& Yes, even owners on their way to jail that had their pet present during the time of arrest. 🙂
———————————————
We are working with a neighboring county to learn how to acquire the proper permits for adding Animal Control onto our sanctuary.
———————————————
Any animal adopted out from us will undergo vetting, evaluation, grooming and training as needed to help them become more suitable for thier forever home.

Please come together with us to help our community & to save our strays ❣

Here is our link if you would like to donate to a location. You don’t have to give big to make an impact, every little bit helps!

Say NO to retractable leashes!

The thin cord of most retractable leashes will break, especially if you have a strong dog. Your dog takes off at full speed, the cord can break. You now have a dog that is off leash!

Owners have gotten tangled up in the cord of a retractable leash as the dog walks around them ,since the cord seems to never end. This will cause them to trip, get rope burns, or cuts on their hands or legs.Major injuries such as amputation of a digit can also occur.

Even though your dog is not aggressive, it can seem that way to other pets. Your dog can extend into the personal space of other pets. While your dog might be friendly, walking into the space of another pet can seem aggressive. Every other pet is not always friendly and for some who are anxious or nervous, this invasion of space can cause them to be fearful and aggressive.

Retractable leashes cause dog fights. Retractable leashes allow your dog to travel a great distance away from you, and dangerous situations can occur in the blink of an eye. For instance, an aggressive dog can escape from anywhere and reach your pet many seconds faster than you can retract the leash. The reaction time between a retractable leash and a traditional leash differ greatly.

You have no control over your dog! Putting him and every person and dog around him in danger.
That little cord never stops unraveling and is impossible to grab. Even if you are able to sn**ch it, the damage is done. Your dog got away or almost got away and you probably got injured in the process!

Go get yourself a strong 6ft leash! Keep your dog ,yourself ,and others safe! Throw that retractable leash where it belongs!🚮

Hello friends,

I am beginning online classes this summer to finish up my degree. I know there is a vast need for dog training, sitting, and general accommodations when it comes to a dog's needs. I would love to help my fellow doggo owners out with an affordable option!

I have always been very passionate about caring for animals , but it wasn’t until about 3 years ago that I found my niche with dogs. I found it after I rescued a puppy out of a rough situation, not knowing the fire she would bring out of me. I named her Ink, Inklin Jones when she’s acting out. After a few short weeks, me and my new best friend began watching a training show that started Ink’s training. I began using these techniques on Ink and to my surprise they work quite well! Finding my passion through this show, I learned that a lady had started her own academy. I did some classes and fell so much in love with this that I decided I wanted to dive right in and make a career out of it. Years later with the support of my loving husband and a small army of friends, I’m finally chasing my dreams. I have spent the last couple years of my life training my own dogs and helping friends and family here and there. I think it’s time to branch out and help others as much as possible.

The support of friends and family has led to my dreams coming one step closer to becoming a reality. I love giving credit where credit is due so between my niece (Hailee) choosing the color of red for the business representing Ink’s first collar, my best friend (Toni Young) deciding the business name, and the apparel/advertisement through many others, I couldn’t have done this alone. I wanted so badly to include my rescue dog’s name, Ink, in the name of my new business. My issue is that nothing really rhymes with Ink. I told Toni I was ready to start this new adventure. Within 10 minutes she had the name. She came up with “Training Ink”. I fell in love with this name. It sums up the story of my life as everyday I continue to be training Ink! It’s very official , catchy ,and fun all at the same time! So without further ado:
I will begin taking clients immediately under the name “Training Ink”.

I will have many spots available, but I want to ensure that these fur babies get the absolute best one on one care! So I will only have a few spots open in my own home for dogs. With that being said I will offer board training and in-home training. Prices will vary depending on your dog , situation ,and distance from me. I can promise it will be an affordable option. I will be setting safety procedures and protocols so this will be a safe environment for all sizes, breeds, and ages of dog.

Feel free to message here on Facebook or text (423) 539-6471 with any questions about pricing, or any other inquiries.

Lots of love, Tiffany
