This is always a good reminder during blanket season!

As blanket season is in full force upon us, here is a very important reminder courtesy of the horse doctors at Miamitown Equine Veterinary Services:

"When securing blankets, make sure that the snaps/clips are facing inward, toward the horse! If they are facing out, they can easily become stuck on something, like the hay net in the picture."

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, and I have so much to be thankful for! I’ve had so many new opportunities and experiences year which has been amazing. Field trip to PHF Sport Horses today for a Laura Chapot clinic and everyone was fantastic! Dayzee and MAK, Bear and Emily and Polaris all did really well and we have more tools to use and exercises to work on!

Polaris’ custom Boeckelo arrived from forestiersellier and I’m OBSESSED!!! It also feels like Christmas came early with all of the swag and accessories that arrived this week.
