Penny's Prickly Pigs is a small-scale hedgehog breeder in Pittsboro, NC. We breed for quality and personality and have been breeding since 2008. We do not ship.

We are no longer located in TN or VA. We breed African Pygmy hedgehogs for quality in personality and health. All of our hedgehogs are pedigreed. Most of our hoglets are Algerian coloring with dark masks. Pick-up is available in Pittsboro, NC only. We do not ship our hedgehogs. On the 7th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, 7 hoglets a milking’ Congrats to Mudslide on her recent litter born on 12/17/24. Let’s hope she gets some much needed rest caring for this full litter. We’ll contact the waiting list when they are around 4 weeks old.
