I have been passionate about animals for as long as I can remember. My mom taught me and my siblings how to care for animals – what to do and what not to do for all different kinds. We had various cats and dogs, but my favorite pets were a deaf and “weight challenged” cat named Ethel and a red Doberman named Becky. In the 70’s, Dobermans had a bad stigma (like bully breeds today), but Becky was wo

nderful. We were taught how to respect her, and she was extremely patient with all 5 kids that lived in our house – letting us play and lay with her. I have kept this passion for animals throughout my life, and now I’m at a stage where I can follow my dreams. I have been working with dogs for over 20 years and have been a Certified Dog Trainer for 10 years. Currently, I am also an evaluator for the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizens program. I’ve worked with some amazingly skilled trainers who have given me a lot of hands-on opportunities and continue to educate myself by reading and observing classes. With the support of my wonderful husband Bill and my loving family and friends, I’m finally becoming a business-owner. I hope to meet you and your pets soon!
