Meet Albert! 🐾

This joyful 1-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix weighs in at about 60 lbs of pure happiness! 💖 Albert was found as a stray and unfortunately, no one came to claim him. 😢 But we can't understand why—this lanky, lovable guy is truly amazing!
Albert is a playful pup who adores squeaky balls and rope toys. You’ll love watching his goofy puppy energy shine through during playtime! 😆 He’s still growing into his paws and will make an incredible adult companion.
Sweet Albert loves affection and is always ready to snuggle and lean in for some pets. He walks well on a leash and is working on basic obedience with. Plus, he gets along great with both dogs and cats!🐕🐈

What more can we say about this panther boy that we haven’t already?! Kazu is so ready to find his forever family.

Kazu, about 2 years old, came to us from a difficult situation with 19 other cats in a cramped one-bedroom apartment. Initially shy, he's blossomed into a loving and affectionate kitty who craves lap time and gentle pets.

Kazu thrives in a calm environment and loves to snuggle up with his human or chase after his favorite mousey toys. He has a special bond with other cats and will need a home with feline friends to help him feel secure. His buddies, like Miriam and Beyonce, have been instrumental in building his confidence!

🚨We are in need of help! Any donations are greatly appreciated 🐾

This little guy was found as a stray in Mt. Pleasant in desperate need of medical care. We believe he is a Shih Tsu mix. He is a neutered male with no microchip.

We’re not positive what his back story is but he is in very poor condition at the moment. Right now all our efforts are focused on making him warm, comfortable, and safe while seeking out veterinary care as soon as possible. What we know about his condition so far is that he has a tumor on his stomach, is in desperate need of a dental for the few teeth he has left, and a very bad case of dry eye that has been affecting his vision. He has been coughing which could be indicative a more serious concern, blood work was sent out today. We have been hit hard with medical cases and we need help from the community to continue what we do and make sure our animals receive the best possible care. His next steps are awaiting bloodwork results and x rays to determine the cause of his coughing and respiratory distress.

💔We are not sure what his outcome may be or if he can withstand the amount of care to get him happy and healthy again. But we are committed to helping him end his suffering in whichever path that may lead. We will continue with updates as we know more, but as for now this old boy is off the streets and as comfortable as he can be.

🐱 Meet Cooper and Cabbit! 💕
These two goofballs have an exceptional story! Cooper and Cabbit were found by one of our foster families, who was trying to take a break prior to the start of the school year. The kitties said otherwise! We’re so grateful for them for helping the kitties and stepping up to foster them, despite being on a break.

Cooper (black) is a male who was found in our foster family’s chicken coop! 🐔 This little boy was timid at first. His fosters had to pick off tons of ticks and fleas 😖. Now, he’s blossomed into a friendly guy who loves to be petted!

Cabbit (black and white) is a female found in the yard of our foster family. Their 11 year old son decides to call her Cabbit, as a combination of cat and rabbit, because she was bouncing around on her long, rabbit-like legs! 🐰

These two cuties love to snuggle, play, and simply be together and with other pets. They do well with cats, dogs, and cat-respectful kids. Please call to schedule an appointment to meet Cooper and Cabbit at 412-672-8901.

⭐️ Kitten Spotlight - Dust Bunny 🐰

Dust Bunny is such a friendly and funny girl! This sweetheart took some time to start growing big and strong, but now that she has, she look great! Dust Bunny loves playing with toys, being petted by her foster mom, and snuggling with other kitties. Dust Bunny requires a home with another cat friend. We are unsure of how she would do with young kids, but she is comfortable around older, cat-respectful kids. She is not a fan of dogs.

⭐️ Kitten Spotlight - DJ ⭐️

DJ is a special girl who came to us as a stray with her brother, Grant. DJ and Grant were feral kittens and went through multiple foster homes to find a best match to work with their personalities and socialize with them.
DJ is still a nervous girl, but has grown so much with her foster. She is easily motivated by string toys and playtime. She allows petting on her own terms. She is still working to build her trust and confidence.
DJ is captivated by other cats and requires another friendly cat in her home. Other cats help her feel more secure and trusting of people. DJ will thrive in a calm and patient home that is willing to give her all of the time and love she deserves!

⭐️ Kitten Spotlight - Luka and Lenelle 🤩

Luka and Lenelle, are a bonded pair. They were found as stray kittens with a terrible case of roundworms. After numerous treatments, they are doing much better!
Luka is a shy guy that needs some time to come out of his shell. He enjoys being petted once he settles in and trusts you. Luka loves to play with toys, especially wand toys, and snuggle with his sister.
Lenelle can be shy at first, but she becomes a real purr machine once she knows you! She is an expert at weaving between legs. She also loves treats and playing with toys.

New York City is a small but mighty boy. He came to us underweight in comparison to his sister, but is doing so well. We like to call him Nyc (pronounced like Nick) as a nickname. Nyc is the son to Guinevere and brother to Misha. His foster mom's niece lives in NYC, so he was named as a support to her! Nyc likes to play with toys and lounge in a cozy bed. Although Misha and NYC are siblings, they can be adopted together or separate as long as they have another cat friend in their future home.

Despite his name, Wild Mike is actually a relaxed boy. He is still getting acclimated to home life as he was found as a stray. He would do best in a calm home with adults/teens only and other cat friends to help him come out of his shell, as he is timid. He likes to play with toys and wrestle with his pals, when not feeling the pressure of being watched by humans, of course.

Alfie is an adorable little grey boy. He was found with 5 siblings, born outdoors to a feral mom. Alfie is a curious boy who loves scritches and playtime. He loves other cats and does well with kids. He has met dogs but wasn't too sure about the interaction, so he would need time and patience in getting adjusted to a home with dogs.

Meet Mouse, the most affectionate and adorable fluff ball you'll ever encounter! This sweet girl is a purring machine, and her favorite thing in the world is being showered with love and pets. 💖

Mouse is friendly with everyone she meets and has a heart full of love to give. When she's not soaking up attention, you can find her rolling around in catnip, enjoying every moment of her playful side. 🌿

She's great with cat-respectful humans of all ages and is looking for a home where she can be the star of the show. While Mouse is tolerant of other cats, she prefers to be the only kitty in the house—especially not with other female cats. As for dogs, we’re unsure, so a dog-free home might be best for her!

Meet Frankie! 🐶
This adorable, wrinkly boy is bursting with energy and ready to find his forever home! Frankie is a 1-year-old pug who loves to run and play. He’s looking for an active family to help him burn off his boundless energy and keep him in shape—he’s already a very good-looking pup and would love to not gain pounds like some pugs do. 😄
Frankie is seeking a furever family experienced with pugs or other brachycephalic breeds, as these flat-nosed pups have unique medical needs and challenges. Frankie deserves owners who understand these requirements and can provide him with the best care.

Frankie gets along well with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats, but we can do a more thorough cat test for serious inquiries. Please keep in mind that dogs and cats need time to adjust to each other, so patience, gradual introductions, and time are essential!

Frankie is still working on his leash skills and basic obedience, but his excitement for walks and being around people makes him a joy to be around! Luka and Lenelle are brother and sister, about 3 months old. These two love to run, play, wrestle and snuggle with each other. Almost everything they do, they do together!
Luka (grey and white) is a shy guy. He takes some time to warm up to new people, he even sometimes needs reminders that deep down he likes his foster mom 😹. Luka loves to play with string toys and curl up on a cat tower. He is comfortable around people, but not outgoing. Think of Luka as an introverted boy!
Lenelle (black) is super friendly and sweet. Lenelle is an expert at weaving in between legs and following people around for more attention. She will chase anything that moves, treating it like a toy. 🪶
