A beautiful Saturday morning at K Street Group K9 & Tactical Training Academy in Pittstown. Of course we have K9 Gus doing some socialization training with Jenn.
Here's another little update on K9 Gus during his scent detection training with Canine Care Associate, Gracie. K9 Gus is being trained to a passive signal so when he locates a scent, he sits and patiently waits for his reward. We are very proud of the progress K9 Gus is making, and we look forward to your continued "likes" and "follows", and of course we welcome comments. Stay tuned for more K9 Gus video.
We've had several followers ask us how Gus is doing with his narcotics detection training. He is doing great and we have started to imprint him to Methamphetamine. Check out this short video of Gus training with Canine Care Associate, Gracie. Say hi to Gus.

We want to give a big shout out to our friends at HealthQuest Fitness Club for having us in on Friday, January 5, to conduct the only one of its kind workshop "For Women Only, Personal Safety & Less Than Lethal Self Defense Options". We had a great crowd of HealthQuest members and we covered topics such as; situational awareness, beverage spiking, use of pepper spray, use of a TASER device, use of force continuum and more. I had a great time with everyone and look forward to doing it again soon. Say hello to our K9 Gus, and see how excited he is to be playing in the snow. K9 Gus is undergoing scent detection training at our 15,000 sq. ft. K9 Training & Boarding Academy in Pittstown. We would expect K9 Gus to graduate in about 6-months and then he will begin his career as a narcotics dog. Look out for our "follow K9 Gus" campaign in the next several days. You'll actually get to see how K9 Gus trains, and you'll be able to check on his progress, and of course, you'll get to see his graduation ceremony. Make sure you like and follow us, and don't forget to wish K9 Gus luck. It takes a special dog to complete this type of training.
