Panda has been ADOPTED!! ❤️❤️

I will share a picture of her with her new family this weekend. But she has a 15 year old dog sibling named Dulcea. 6 human child siblings to wrestle with, and a WONDERFUL mom & dad.

It’s sooooo bittersweet. But we couldn’t have found a better family for Panda ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Panda’s dog and kid testing today went surprisingly well! The reactive meets we are getting are all fear based and we just need to make sure everyone is in a calm state when she meets dogs. And I think she loves kids more than adults. ❤️

Panda did really well today meeting a potential adopter! The only thing holding us up is, she HAS to get along/coexist with their 14 year old dog. (We decided not to let them meet today because she’s been dog reactive except for with George)

Today we are at my parents house doing more socialization of unfamiliar places. Meet n greet tomorrow with a potential adopter!

Panda is officially up for adoption! Your typical 2 year old dog, wild child, but she settles down great for cuddles! She definitely needs a calm dog when meeting a new friend, but once she trusts them, she’s ready to roughhouse

Panda and the cats have been out together all morning! We have only had 1 scuffle. Everybody is just nervous of everybody, there’s no aggression, just fear based.

It’s taken over a month for them to play, but now they are BEST friends. George has never played with a dog like this before ❤️

People typically give up after a week or two if things aren’t going as 100% as planned with a new dog.

It has taken 4 weeks to make this picture happen. A lot of patience. A lot of treats. Several days of locking the cats up, crate training, and several hours sitting around just holding a leash.

Do I trust her? No. But another couple weeks of cat training, and we might take this leash off.

Panda is ALMOST ready to start looking for her final home. Stranger danger is starting to fade also!
