Great news from doc appt yesterday, can go back to work part time as long as I don’t over do it & don’t try to do any crazy lifting!!! If I haven’t called/texted you yet & you’d like to get your babies an appt please feel free to call/text me, thank you all for your loyalty & patience this past year, I know it’s been crazy & inconvenient but hopefully no more trips to ICU for awhile! Love y’all & can’t wait to see everyone again, sure do miss all my babies!!!🥹🙏♥️

Hi everyone, I’m alive!!! Just an update: I’ll be giving grooming another try in the next few weeks, hopefully my legs/feet won’t fail me this time. That said, I’m starting off with smallest/easiest, I’d never live with it if I hurt a baby, & while I’ll do my best to call everyone, I’m still not 💯 on memory issues (was never great but worse now🥴), so if you haven’t received a call, please feel free to call me & we’ll get everyone scheduled. I miss you all terribly so can’t wait to be back!!!🙏💗

Love my adopted sons, but this guy... (oops, Momma can’t have any favorites😂). He really shouted out the shop ( & so did the ringside announcers) & I wasn’t able to do anything for him this year w all my health BS.😢. Me, Mom, Dad, & Jim just love the hell out of you son, win or lose, good or bad times, you’re part of our little crazy family & we wouldn’t want it any other way!!! Oh, P.S. the dogs love you too!!!😂💗💗

Update: surgery #4 in the books, had to do bypass in right thigh since angioplasty done a few weeks ago didn’t work, having some problems w complete numbness from knee down (which may be a blessing!), but severe pain from right hip down to back of knee, very strange combo but this whole thing has been stranger than fiction! Hoping to get it all figured out w doc this morning. Let’s hope this is the last of the health drama & I can get shop open soon, this is the longest I’ve had to be off, just hate it, miss everyone & all my fur babies!🥲💗

Update: healing pretty well after angioplasty in each leg & left toe amputation, unfortunately the angio in right leg didn’t work so am having a bypass in my right thigh Nov. 1, will be stuck in hospital again for awhile. Will heal as fast as possible & try to get shop open before Christmas. Miss you all!!!💗

Update:Appointment w vascular doc tomorrow @ 8am, will keep everyone posted. Shop will have to be closed til October at least, much as I hate to do it, but I’ll be back the minute I’m healed up!!!👍😉

Update: Ended up @ Community South this past Wed/Thurs because my toes were turning black😱. Turns out its not my back (for once🙄), I have PAD, Peripheral Arterial Disease & will have to have stints in both legs. Should hear from the surgeon Monday & will post surgery date & recovery time then, but for now unfortunately, I need to close the shop til I’m recovered, hoping a couple of weeks max. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience but most of you know I’ve been to doctors fighting this since March so at least we know what’s been causing the problems & hopefully surgery will have me back & better than ever! I’ll contact everyone & post on here when the shop can re-open. Thank you for your patience, prayers, & understanding, y’all have been amazing these past months & I’m so fortunate to have customers/friends like you🙏💗

Update: As most of you know I just had a bad bout of Covid & unfortunately it has made the issues with my legs & back 100 times worse, this last week I haven’t even been able to tolerate shoes or anything else touching them, just feels like raw nerves. Have another appointment with Neuro next Wednesday & hopefully will finally know what’s causing all of this. Thank you all for your patience & the texts & calls from some of you checking on me, it means the world right now as I’m pretty worried this could be something really bad & permanent, I’m definitely not ready to retire! I’ll keep everyone posted as soon as I have news, & if you need to take your babies elsewhere in the meantime I completely understand, just as long as you promise to come back to me!🥲💗

Update: Spine doc has determined that the disks are not the cause of my issues. She’s sending me to a neurologist due to the neuropathy, numbness, pain & weakness getting worse & spreading to other areas beyond my legs/feet now. Fingers crossed they finally have an answer as this has been going on since Feb. I’ve so appreciated everyone’s concern & patience all these months, I know it’s been frustrating at times since I never know myself from 1 day to the next if it’s going to be a good enough day to be able to work or a day where I can’t even stand shoes on my feet or stop my hands from shaking long enough to not endanger your babies or myself. You all will be the 1st to know as soon as there’s a final diagnosis, just know until then I will work on days I’m able & let anyone with appointments know ASAP on days I’m not able & get you rescheduled. Thank you all again for your prayers, patience & understanding & know that I love & appreciate you all.🙏❤️

Update: finally had correct MRI done, unfortunately not great news, have several herniated disks in several locations, we’re going to try “high density”🤷‍♀️ (what doc called them)injections 1st, if unsuccessful then surgery🤞🤞🤞

Update: Had MRI appt. & insurance approved 1 for my neck (instead of lower lumbar), doc had to resubmit order, wait for new approval & hopefully will get it right next Mon, til then I’m trying to groom as much as possible but pretty limited to small babies & only large ones that are able to get on/off table by themselves, which is tough for me as a lot of mine are special needs & have to have assistance, but I’m willing to make it work, even had a customer stay last week to lift hers for me & another bathed & groomed his own (used to be a groomer). So just know I’m doing my best to accommodate & do the best I can & hopefully will have a diagnosis & treatment & be back to my crazy old self!!!🙏❤️

Great news everyone!!! Insurance finally approved MRI & it’s set for this coming Tues, so a step closer to getting my back fixed & back to my regular schedule!!! Thank you all for your patience & well wishes, quite a few of you have been great about rescheduling on really bad days & doc appts & I can’t tell you how much easier it made things for me, so thank you all again & 🤞🤞 we’re almost there!!!❤️

Hi everyone, sorry I haven’t posted for awhile, but as most of you know by now, I’ve been battling a pretty serious back issue for several weeks that has now affected mobility & my legs. I am still trying to work but just have to take it on a daily basis, some are worse than others & I’m also juggling doctor appts (just had another 1 yesterday w change in meds so 🙏 it helps!), tests, & now a battle with insurance for another MRI, etc. but I’m doing my best & will continue to groom as I can & will get healthy & through this, it’s not my 1st rodeo & I’m a tough old bird & love what I do & all of you too much to give it up, I’ll groom your babies from a wheelchair if I have to!😂. Thank you for understanding, & anyone that’s had to reschedule I so appreciate your support, patience, & understanding, you’re all loved & soooo appreciated!🙏. I’ll keep everyone posted❤️
