Ellie is a very special Rehabilitation client! She’s gone through two different trainers prior before coming to Alpha Omega Canine. Lots of Fear, anxiety, the vet had her on several medications. It’s been a week and a half and she off all meds, she running in open fields, walking beautifully on the leash, and socializing with other dogs! Very blessed to be a part of her journey! Fun 2 days of snow and ice. As of yesterday my backyard is a mud Pitt! Literally! I’ve mopped and vacuumed so many times I’ve lost count! Today I’m paying for it 😆. And completely over it! That being said we are working inside as much as possible! And only taking fast potty breaks one by one till the mud goes away! Start of leash training has begun! So they are excited about that! Everyone is half way through training! Rocking it as expected! I’m so proud of this pack! Hugo making Huge progress! I’m so glad I was able to multitask and take this video! A little back info. Hugo came to me with a prong collar with uncontrollable leash pulling! He’s a big puppy! And would pull your arm straight out of place! So here he is showing how controlled he can be. How he will listen on command. And his main job is to keep baby Roman and myself safe! Typically I don’t like for him to be in front of me like this but he was listening so well and just curious so I wanted him to know I trust him and let him do him. This was a major distraction! Squirrel that was really pushing his buttons, this house has several dogs inside and they were barking like crazy! Roman next to him and a busy street with cars passing by! I just love this so much! And I can’t express enough how important it is to create this bond with your dog! Once the bond is made and your dog understands it’s job progress only gets better and stronger! Hugo has come so far!
