Please Join us in Celebrating Jane Monsson's Life
Saturday July 12th 12-3 at Mill-Again Stables
Jane was a beloved riding instructor at Mill-Again Stables, whose strength, honesty, and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Jane was a talented and dedicated teacher, known for her stern yet caring approach to horsemanship and effective riding. She invested every ounce of her heart and soul into her students, often going beyond riding lessons to offer guidance, support, and encouragement in their lives. Her commitment to her craft and her students made her not only a skilled instructor but also a cherished mentor and friend.
Her students remember her as a source of unwavering support and inspiration.
"Each lesson, on or off the horse, with Jane was such a blessing. Jane's never-ending support truly amazed me. No matter how my ride went, she would always tell me how proud she was and how I was improving."
- Abby Shepherd
"Jane was the best horsewoman I've ever known — strong, graceful, and full of wisdom. More than just my instructor, she was one of my biggest supporters, always believing in me even when I didn't believe in myself."
- Bella Porter
“No matter how many times you see me fail, you saw something in me and my riding that I never and don’t think I ever will understand. You were the push and reason I looked for equestrian teams and the first person I called when I made the team.”
- Sofia Reisinger
In addition to her influence in the arena, Jane was an accomplished artist. She possessed a remarkable ability to capture the unique personality and expression of each horse she painted. Many of you have her artwork displayed in your homes or on her favorite canvas - our drinkwear.
Her art is a beautiful testament to her talent and the deep connection she shared with the animals she loved.
Jane’s legacy is felt daily at Mill-Again Stables and within the hearts of her students, fellow instructors and trainers, and the many people who cherish her artwork. She will be deeply missed but remembered fondly for her strength, her kindness, and the positive influence she had on everyone around her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Mill-Again Stables on Saturday July 12th, where friends, riders and their families are invited to celebrate her life and enduring impact.
