It has begun… It’s already sprinkling on and off here.😢 #RescuesAndRainDoNotMix #RainyDaysMeanMuddyPaws #No oneLikesToGoOutsideWhenItRains
(LATE POST!) THIS WAS THE VIDEO TO ANNOUNCE 4 MORE DAYS TO OUR BIG Jordan's Way Fundraiser! I got super busy at the vet and then the local parade with our kiddo so we did not post on time. However, we did not want to leave out content that we feel is very important as a reason to count us as an organization that matters for our local rescues. Reason number four is Veterinary expenses. The list that we are providing in this feed is only from our primary veterinarian over $38,000 was paid into this Vet in 2024. That may not seem like a huge number compared to some of these other organizations, but we are a primarily self funded Organization. What does that mean? It means our paychecks go to the rescues and nothing else after our bills are paid!😂 the total provided does not include other veterinarians, emergency services such as when we take animals that have been hit by a car to the ER, TNVR surgeries, grooming needs, training needs, and specialty doctor, such as cardiologist or orthopedic surgeons. We had a few wonderful people who decided to sponsor a surgery this last year for our senior dogs and we were so grateful! Dental work is so expensive! We had a monthly contribution to our veterinarian from a wonderful local foundation for over six months of last year! We are absolutely grateful for our donors and the people who believe in what we do. This is reason number four why we need your help in making the fundraiser on Friday a huge success! As we move forward in time the need for Rescue becomes greater by the day. It’s unfortunate, but that’s why we do what we do! We are so excited for Friday’s event! Please join us either live or in person!
THREE MORE DAYS!!! WHO IS COMING?!

5 DAYS UNTIL OUR Jordan's Way Live Fundraiser event!!! we wanted to give you 5 more reasons why we could use your help raising funds for our organization! Reason #5 is costly damages from the hurricane to our property. Yes, we do know that the hurricanes were last year on October 10, 2024. Every single fence around our property took damage and we had six trees down. Thanks to a donation from a follower we were able to remove the big tree in the back off of the fence from a local company, but that was all it would cover with the funds that came in for it. We honestly have not been able to do anything but minimal self repair with rebar and wire trying to keep the agricultural animals contained. Due to them getting out frequently, it has been an inconvenient yet necessary part of our routine to get them contained again and do another self-fix on the fence. We have so many medical cases and special needs animals that it is our number one priority to make sure that they are medically and mentally healthy. Therefore, we have been just doing tiny fixes to the fence ourselves. This is reason number five that we could use your help raising funds for our organization on our big fundraiser on Friday. It honestly would probably cost about $15,000 to remove everything from the yard and make all of the repairs we need and bring in fill dirt where the ground has eroded from the rain. These repairs are always secondary to any medical needs that are animals have. If we came close to meeting our goal on the fundraiser, we could get some of the more emergent areas handled. If we surpassed our fundraiser goal, then the overage would definitely go to all repairs for the property. We are super excited to try to do better things this year, but unfortunately it comes with the cost of mending things that happened last year. We can’t wait to see you at our event or for you to join us live! Thank you all in advance for your help. We appreciate your support.👏🏼❤️🐾
6 DAYS UNTIL THE FUNDRAISER AND live Jordan's Way event!!! We wanted to countdown and give reasons why we could use your help with our organization’s fundraiser! 🙏🏼❤️🐾 #6 is Foster Provisions
Ruby’s homecoming video! Our sweet amputees always hate that first part where they’re scared to walk free after their limbs are amputated. It’s like second nature! They get up and go and they’re very successful! It’s just that first week of pain and second week of staying put that makes this super difficult! Ruby was hit by a car and was on the run with a severely fractured leg for some time and it had healed that way. Ruby story has the best ending already because after she heals, she has a forever home waiting up north with her daughter who was adopted on December 8. We are excited for her to heal and be able to be transported up north. Thank you all for being a part of her journey! She is doing very well. #TeamRubyRed #RubyAndRoseRed #Healing #ThisIsRescue #HitByCar #HitAndRun #Amputation #AmputeeLife #Tripod
You know that one time where you had to do a double take? And your words were a little behind because you were just mind blown? And your kid was all@muddy because they got into mud? From where the found kid, you have no clue? TODAY WAS THAT ONE TIME!🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤣 What in the #MelGibson did she do? If you haven’t seen Braveheart this won’t even make sense to you… yes… she was bathed… and then she won an academy award to show off to her friends. Well played, Sweetie! Well played! 🐾👏🏼🤣 #TeamSweetie #Braveheart #actor #mud #bathtime #omg #wth #dude #facial #makeup #warpaint
7 MORE DAYS UNTIL OUR BIG FUNDRAISER with Jordan's Way live!! we’ll give you reason number seven why we could use your assistance in trying to raise money for our organization! Reason number 7 is Ruby. today she will be amputated and her bill will be over $1000. She and her daughter were strays on the run for quite some time until a local trapped her. We were able to take them in and get x-rays, which showed a very badly fractured leg. It had healed, so the best course of action would be to amputate. Her daughter Rose was adopted right before Christmas and taken up to New York, where she absolutely loves the snow! That Adopter has reached out and wants to give Ruby a home as well! Which means after healing Ruby can be reunited with her daughter and live happily ever after in a gorgeous property up north! She will need to be transported, which will also cost a large sum of money. Ruby’s journey is an expensive one, but well worth it and we are super excited for her to live forever with her daughter with an amazing family! 🙏🏼❤️🐾 #TeamRuby #ShareOurFundraiser #ThisIsRescue #RubysJourney
8 DAYS LEFT until our huge Jordan's Way fundraiser! Reason #8 that we could benefit from using your help in raising money for our organization is medical for injured ferals and our TNR program. Many people don’t Like feral cats at all but most local colonies have a feeder. We have a program called TNR Plant City, where we trap neuter and release colony cats. We often get calls for injured cats. Some are treatable, some are untreatable and we humanely euthanize. (See cancerous growths in video). The treatable ones we keep for 4-6 weeks to heal and continue medical treatment and follow ups. If they are social enough to keep or adopt as a working barn cat, we do so. If not, they are released to their original feeder. Today we started the day off trying to catch a cat with a degloved tail and a punctured side wound. (Degloved means something most likely but and snagged the skin off, down to the bone). We finally got him tonight after a day of his standoff behavior. This is reason #8 that we can use your help during our live fundraiser to collect donations for our organization! We do not charge for doing this, but the time, gas, food, supplies and medical bills are not cheap.🙏🏼❤️🐾
