Our last (bull) calf for this year was born on Mon 10/30, ofcourse just when the cold and rain was setting in. Looks like something got ahold of it before we could, so I believe it’s time for some predator control. He’s missing part of his tail, but we’re still thankful that we still have the rest of him. 🙏🏾🐂🧬

💥Fun fact about Red Brangus💥

Red Brangus are a moderate size with mature females weighing in the range of 1,100 pounds and mature bulls weighing in the 2,000 pound range. Their red color is not only pleasing to many cattlemen, but eliminates pink eye and sunburned udders and allows the cattle to forage under extreme heat conditions while others are seeking shade or tanks. Their disposition makes them ideal for the wide open spaces of the western ranges and safe for the week-end rancher. The natural polling of Red Brangus eliminates the danger of horns and the management chore of dehorning.

🙏🏾First off, we’re overly thankful for the rain that we have recent received the last couple days.

🎯We’d like to share a little about what we have going on with you guys.

🔥The 212G2 bull, that we have used the last two years, goes back to the TK Highway 901S, who was is direct son of Sureway’s Rockystreet 227N and has constantly continued to provide us low birth weight, thick, deep, structurally correct calves with bone.

🐂Some of the females that we have bred to the 212 bull go back to Sureway Farms, Cox, McDonald, MBJ and Dos XX’s cow families.

🤞🏾Many of 212 female progeny have been retained and will be bred to other proven bloodlines. The moderate frame performance style cattle that we look to produce, will be able to continue to thrive and hustle in hot and bear times, like the current drought.

🧬We’re also look forward to the addded genetics that our embryo program will bring into our herd.
