Sticks at 14.1hh right now.
She ground work is done. She ties, loads, stands for farrier, hobbles, ponies, has seen dogs, 4 wheelers, ropes, etc. SHE IS QUIET.
No kick/bite.

🌟She is eligible for Salina Futurity at the Salina, KS sale next year.🌟
Has a scar on back right fetlock from weaning that doesn't bother her at all.

She's a big mover. Get her before I put a saddle on her. The moment I swing a leg over her, her price goes up. She would make a great rope prospect.
I would gladly keep her in my program at a discount for new owners; as I believe she will be a great roper.

We had quite a successful September 2024!

This c**t had under 90 days training with me before his futurity show; he came to me only halter broke, and he left a 3yr old Ideal stock horse futurity champion!

This 3yr old has somewhere around 50 days on him. He's came quite a long way since he's shown up here.
He was supposed to be a rope horse prospect; but I told his owner he seems to really want to be a ranch riding horse.
So we'll be taking him to the NWMSOF futurity in the 3yr old ideal ranch horse class the end of this month.
Normally; I'd never take a c**t with less than 90 days training under his belt to a futurity where he'll easily be a year behind other horses he's showing against.
But everyday I get on; "Cool" just tries harder for me. So I figure the least I could do is give him the opportunity to show off!
I don't know if this c**t will still be for sale now; but if he will be, he'd make someone a great junior ranch horse!

If you'd have told me that a barrel horse trainer rejected this guy cause "he looks lazy" I wouldn't believe you.
But here Dale is, 45 days into training with me after she didn't want him, and his FIRST DAY seeing the barrel pattern.
He's bred PHENOMENAL (papers in comments) and he's looking for his person.

You can tell how much a woman loves herself, by the life that she chooses.

Her partner, her friends, her job, her attitude.

Love yourself enough to understand that all of these choices decide the life you feel that you deserve.

These photos will always remind me that I did this trail course the way I knew my horse and I could do it best; even though it was the way my loving teammates respectfully disagreed with at first.

In the end they trusted my judgment; and I placed 5th out of 70 riders💕

There's no prize for it; just like choosing your own path in life. There's no guarantees the choices you make will lead you next to the people you thought it would, or the prizes you hoped for.

The best you get is trusting that everything will work out as it's supposed to if you always chose yourself.

Oh, and riding a pretty little black horse never hurts..😉

Well Talon got some good experience over the 3 day rodeo in KC this weekend. We still have things to sharpen up; but I think he'll make a rodeo horse! I'm so proud and grateful to have trained and raised this horse myself. He's everything I want people to see or of my program!

I'm going to miss this mare! She's a handful but she sure loves roping! #coltstarting #teamroping #ropinghorse
