Toaster did amazing this weekend! Earning several ribbons and even scoring enough points to earn her first title, BCAT. So proud of her. Her fastest time (and new PB) was 100 meters in 6.95 seconds or about 29mph! Thank you to all my clients for being super supportive, as always 🖤

Hi Neighbors! We’re having a problem here at Blue Fox Books on Main Street in Walden. Someone keeps letting their dog p*e on my brand new welcome mat and all over my front door. If this is you PLEASE I’m begging you STOP. If you see this happening please let me know asap, it’s a regular occurrence.

It’s so disgusting and it’s ruining my things that I work very hard to keep nice for our customers and the whole village. I’m constantly putting out free books, $1 books, not to mention running events for folks in the community and local non-profits and we really do not deserve this thoughtlessness. It’s hard enough being a small business owner in this economy without having to clean up p*e. Frankly I just want to cry.

Little Rigatoni had her first appointment with me today. She came with her big sister, Dolly who I have been grooming for years. So, here’s the thing about puppies…is her head still a little damp, yes. But she is leaving here happy and not traumatized. I am always honest with my puppy parents that I will do what their pup allows me to do. I do not force anything on them, especially if it gets to the point that they are stressed out. I’d rather a damp head but a happy puppy 🤍
