🐾Meet Mama Piper! Piper is a year old hound mix. Here’s what her foster mom has to say about Piper and her most recent experience.

“This young lady caused quite the stir when she arrived at her new “foster to adopt” home.
When put out onto the deck, she managed to escape. The temperature last night was frigid and this girl is not large or meaty. She’s just a love who needs a little extra decompression time when she finds her forever family.

When Piper arrived at my home just over three weeks ago, she had just been separated from her puppies. she was dirty, smelly, and so sad. I put her in a pen, hoping that she could start her decompression and, after she cried for 30 minutes, I scooped her up, gave her a warm shower and cuddled her to sleep in my bed. I guess that’s the moment she knew she could trust me. From that moment forward, we have been in love, and I cannot express the feeling of gratitude when she came running into my arms after being located by Heatseeker Drone Services! If you or someone you know is looking for a precious angel to steal your heart, Piper might just be the one”.

Even though this foster to adopt home was not the right place for Piper, we know the perfect home is out there. 🎉 Happy New Year! 🎉

As 2024 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to thank every single one of you for your support, kindness, and generosity. Because of YOU, we were able to save 172 dogs this year! From fosters to adopters, donors, and volunteers, you’ve helped change lives and given so many pups their second chance.

And as we welcome 2025, we can’t forget about Stevie. This marks her second New Year with us, and we are holding onto hope that this is the year she finds her forever family. Stevie is an amazing dog with so much love to give—she just needs someone to see her for the special soul she is. She needs time to warm up to people and with proper introductions and training, could do well with other pups.

🐾 Meet Polar and Penny! 🐾

Polar and Penny are 13-week-old terrier mix puppies looking for their forever homes! These sweet pups are the perfect combination of fun and affection.

Polar is smart, curious, and playful. He loves exploring, playing fetch, and running around. He’s sure to keep you entertained with his lively personality—my kids were very impressed by him!

Penny is the calmer of the two, a little shy but incredibly sweet. She’s the perfect cuddle buddy who will warm your heart with her gentle nature.

Both pups are crate-trained and had no issues sleeping through the night without accidents. They are making great progress with potty training—they know to go outside and had no accidents in the house when taken out every 20 minutes.

Polar and Penny love being around people and other dogs, including their foster family’s big dog. They enjoy treats, chew toys, and plenty of snuggles. Remember, they’re still babies, so keeping them warm and cared for is essential.

Meet Neve!

🐾Meet Maisy! This sweet little mixed breed girl is about four months old and approximately 20ish pounds. She arrived last night after two plane rides and a long car ride. She had quite the journey!

Maisy is working on house training, leash walking, but knows her place in her crate which is excellent. She loves other dogs and isn’t phased by my cats. Maisy has the cutest little floppy ears that are so expressive. It also looks like she’s wearing little white socks! She loves other pups and Eve plays fetch!

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Seuk Kim, a beloved animal lover, skilled pilot, and valued partner in the rescue works. We had the privilege of meeting Seuk a few weeks ago when he brought Steve to our group. Seuk’s generosity and dedication to saving lives touched countless hearts, flying pups all along the east coast to their forever homes. His kindness and impact will never be forgotten. To his family and friends, we extend our deepest condolences. Seuk’s legacy will live on in every life he helped save.
