Week 8️⃣ for the Pitter Patters! This week we learned that cords and Granny’s plants are a “no-no”, water (specifically puddles) = super fun, brooms are not scary but the leaf blower is a little. 😉 Most of the crew is heading to join their new families and they are SO excited. They’ve also done their best to assure Darry, Dan and Gail that they will find their fams soon!! ❤️🐾

Week SEVEN for The Pitter Patters ✅! They’ve had numerous visitors this week to make their social game on point. The cooler weather was a blessing that allowed for many more outdoor shenanigans too! Most will be heading to their new “furever” families next weekend!! To the newest members of the MVL fam, the current fam can attest…yes, Granny WILL get emotional! 🥹

Darry was learning “shake” and decided to one up it with a DOUBLE shake! He wanted me to let you know that he is waiting for his forever buddy to pick him!! He can’t wait for you to teach him all the tricks so he can be the “bestest boy”! ❤️

The Pitter Patters are SIX weeks old!! They had their 1st vet appt today and as you can imagine, they all got LOTS of lovins’ from the staff at the clinic. They’ve kept us SO busy that I’m late to take these! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Sorry but we’ve been having FUN! It’s been so hot that our outdoor adventures only happen early in the morning and late in the evening. We’ve incorporated one on one time in this week where the puppers get the chance to be exposed to all the sights and sounds of a household while not relying on their littermates to follow or keep them entertained. The vacuum was “the loudest” creature they encountered this week!

The Pitter Patters are THREE weeks old! This week their whelping box expanded to double the size, and they are much more vocal and social! There’s been a few donnybrooks between the siblings as they’re figuring out how to use their voices to growl and their mouths to play. They also got some new toys which has been fun watching them interact with. ❤️🐾

Friendly reminder MVL Fam, be sure to register your puppers with AKC prior to them turning 1! You’ll be able to register them after but it will cost DOUBLE. 😬 (I learned this the hard way with Rook) So…put on your crafty hats and give those Outlaws an official registered name. ❤️🐾 P.S. if you start your registration and need a PIN just shoot me a message/text.

The Outlaws are SIX MONTHS old!! On this day 6 months ago we got to meet you all for the first time! Tanis started labor around 7pm and finished around 1:30am. This is a candid shot of a proud Grandpa just checking you all out. Granny loves and misses you all but knows you all are SO loved! MVL fam we’d love to see your 6 month old pupper! Hi MVL fam!! I just wanted to share a tidbit about the baby 🦈 phase you’re all probably experiencing with your pupper. As you enter the teething phase, your pupper might seem “mouthier” and more “chompy” in general. I can assure you, this does not last forever and will get MUCH better in a few months so hang in there!!

This article talks about different things you can try in your training. I specifically remember using the “give them something they CAN chew on in that moment” with our doggos.
