To all of our Murphy’s Pawtrons,

We thank you all so much for your support over the past three and a half years with the opening of our second location in Livermore. It has been a journey for sure, but one that has unfortunately reached its end. Murphy’s Paw at 2044 First Street in Livermore will be closing on August 20th, 2023.

To clarify, we are NOT closing our Pleasanton location! Murphy’s Paw will continue on at 410 Main Street in Pleasanton, as it has since it was established in 2007.

For those who purchase dog or cat food with us in Livermore, we will be offering free delivery to your home. Simply call our store in Pleasanton (after August 20th) to order & pay over the phone, and we will deliver your pet food to your house as soon as we are able to (usually same day, if in stock, from M-F). We understand that for Livermore residents, having your pet’s food so close by has been convenient, and we want to continue this convenience as we value our customers so much 💚🐾

At our Livermore location, we are running a sale on select items and are giving away free tennis balls! We will continue to keep all essentials in stock until closing day.

So the fencing is up and the next 2 years are going to be very challenging for your favorite downtown businesses. Please remember that this could be a make it or break it moment for retail. We know you have many choices when it comes to shopping for your needs but we ask your patience when trying to find parking during construction. Murphy's Paw is always willing to drop off your purchase if you are local and can't find a spot to park. As always we thank you for shopping at our family owned small business.

New and improved parking is coming to Downtown Livermore! Construction of the L Street Parking Garage is underway. Beginning this Monday, May 22, a portion of Veterans Way along L Street will be detoured because of construction activity. Please follow all detour signs.

And don't worry....ALL businesses are open during construction.

The L Street Parking Garage is anticipated to open to the public in fall 2024. It will add 452 parking spaces, including ADA, electric vehicle, and bicycle spaces. Another 40 spaces will be in the adjacent surface lot. New parking technology will provide added convenience for drivers with signs displaying real-time parking availability and a parking app that communicates open parking spaces right in the palm of your hand.
