We take great care to ensure that our work meets the highest quality standards; for this reason, we cannot commit to a specific completion date. However, we believe explaining the reasons behind our approach is essential as we’ve recently received questions and people wanting 2-4 week turnaround times.
Have you ever noticed yellowing or dark brown/black spots on mounts when you receive them or shortly afterward? Before launching EZ Beetles, we conducted thorough research on various methods to prevent this issue and achieve lasting results. Consequently, we implemented a specialized process that requires significant time and attention—often taking several weeks—since certain types of mounts need more extensive care.
In the images below, you will see a batch of some of our mounts currently in our soaking process, along with two examples of spots that can occur during the processing. It is important not to rush through this step, as these spots will require additional time to eliminate and prevent them from recurring. While discoloration can develop over time due to various factors, our goal is to ensure that your European mount remains pristine for as long as possible once it reaches you.
Additionally, our process is designed to be gentler on the mounts' bone structure, minimizing the risk of breakdowns. This careful handling helps preserve the mounts' integrity and appearance.
We are committed to providing the whitest and best-finished pieces that showcase our dedication to quality above all else. We understand that our process may take longer than some taxidermists, but we believe the patience and care we put into our work will be worth the wait!
