On June 16,2022 Captain Sparta observed a vehicle parked at Ms. Jackie Gearhearts residence. Captain Sparta knew that Ms. Gearheart had a active warrant through San Jacinto county from animal cruelty to a non live stock animal. Captain Sparta met with Ms. Gearheart and confirmed the warrant. Ms. Gearheart was taken into custody and placed In the San Jacinto county jail without incident.

****Animal Cruelty is a crime and if caught you will be charged*****

If you move take your animals with you and give them the love and care they deserve.
It is a crime to abandon your pets!

San Jacinto county animal control division has placed cameras throughout the county to help catch people who are dumping these unwanted animals.

We are a very new, very small rescue. Literally ran by me and 1 other person. We have lives and families just like you. We need fosters in order to move these animals 🙏🏼
Its not as easy as picking up a stray and handing them off. Please know there is a process, these animals need to be housed and cared for by someone...and like I said we are 2 everyday people, not a facility.

Fostering may include, but not limited to: recovery after surgery, vet visits and most of all patience/love until a home or another rescue is found🐾
