This year's dog swim is at Botsford Pool on Monday, Aug. 19, 5-7 p.m.! This event will be $5 for Livonia residents and $8 for non-residents. Vendors with dog goods will be on-site. Owners will not be able to swim with their pups.

PLEASE READ IN ENTIRETY:
Pay upon entrance with proof of the following documentation: Owners must provide valid City of Residence Dog License along with proof of current vaccinations for Rabies, DHLPP or DAPP (Distemper), and Bordetella.

Lifeguards will be onsite for the safety of dog owners, but dogs swim at their own risk.

Aggressive behavior will not be tolerated to any degree, and any aggressive behavior will cause staff to ask you to leave. There will be no refunds for any reason.

This baby needs a home! 🫶

Baby Romeo is looking for a new home. He was recently found by our friend, a fellow veterinarian, dragging a broken leash. We tried to find his original family, but unfortunately, we were unsuccessful. We named him Romeo because of the upside-down black heart on his side (look for it in the picture!). Romeo is about a 10-month old boy, healthy, newly vaccinated, house-trained, and very well-behaved with dogs and people. He’s a super sweet pup in need of a new, loving home. Nothing beats the feeling of a successful groom on a fearful dog 🥰✨️

This cutie's description came in as a rescue who has been turned away from different groomers and needs to be muzzled (the owner said he fights to the point where he was turning blue wearing the muzzle!).

Mobile grooming can have so many benefits - but one of the most important reasons is to build a trusting, lasting relationship between groomer and pet.

Understanding dog body language, a little love and a lot of patience goes a long away - no muzzle required 🏆 👏
