We also have mum cuttings that are being propagated. We bought our first batch of heirloom mums last spring and now we are working to increase our stock. Who wants mums in their bouquets this fall?? ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒผ

Happy Tuesday! Farmstand is stocked with eggs today! The chickens are loving the longer days and warmer weather.

Seed starting Green Acre* style: Soil blocking in fancy a ๐Ÿ‘— or no wearing๐Ÿ‘–. Both girls are super helpers when it comes to starting seeds. They also take fashion consults as a side business if anyone is interested. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Seed starting has begu n here. Strawflowers, Statice, Bupleurum, Snapdragons, Bells of Ireland... and hopefully some Lisianthus. ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป (Wish me luck on that one). Oh and of course the fabulous ranunculus are being presprouted!

Good morning! Long time no ๐Ÿฅšโ€™s. The hens have been enjoying their (chilly) winter off from egg production. I put 1 dozen out and hopefully will add a 2nd dozen in a few hours. Egg production is starting to pick up again as the days are getting longer!

Stay tuned for what seeds had already been started for spring blooms! ๐ŸŒบ Any guesses??

Want to keep feeding your garden all winter long?? Grab yourself some seeds to plant. We have just started our winter rye and winter peas in order to get them established before those chilly temps start to come. These cover crops are great for winter since they can tolerate the cold temps and keep living roots in your soil (which is the best way to keep your soil healthy!) We pick up our cover crop seeds from Morrison's Home and Garden
