I took Sebo downtown yesterday. I love taking dogs downtown, as it shows me any holes in my training in probably the most distracting environment ive put them in so far!

We took a little field trip to Tractor Supply to pick up some dog food (and berd seed). It was a great opportunity to show off all his commands in public, especially heeling since I dont think I did a video on it yet.

I took Sebo to walk on the tow path, play by the river and practice our obedience in the real world.

My boy Sebo went hiking with a bew group of dogs the other day. We are having fun working that off leash recall, interacting appropriately with new friends, practicing our obedience and our newly found crate manners.

Sebo has only been here a few days but hes picking up his ecollar training quickly! Here he is on a hike with a group of friends and their packs. He was appropriate meeting and interacting with all the dogs and had a great time!

I took Kora downtown again last night. It was super busy and she did amazing. She goes home tomorrow and im gonna miss her. 🥹

I took Kora downtown to test out her training in the busiest environment i know of…downtown Fredrick.
People, LOTS of cars and trucks, dogs, strollers, bikes ect. Kora was a little nervous but held it together well. It was a good forst round for Kora. We are going back again tomorrow.

Yesterday I went to visit a friend. We went to hang out at our local dog friendly brewery to hang out for a bit.
It was the perfect opportunity to work with Kora relaxing in a public place.

Kora joined us on our halftime week. Its been 5 days and we are in our way back home. We came, we saw, we double dutched. Well, kora didnt but she was along for the ride.
Here are some clips of our journey over the past few days. It doesnt get much more “real world” out here than this. Dogs off leash, dogs in hotels, dogs traveling. Koras family wants to include her in all the trips and adventures and now they can. Shes turned into such a nice and confident dog. No more barking at people or other dogs. No more freaking out when someone is carrying something. No more harassing the other dog in the home relentlessly to play with her, no more pulling/choking herself on leash, no more anxious car rides. 👏🏼Kora is killin it.

I still have a whole week left with this girl and its goinf to be full of fun public outings with lots of new experiences and new friends.
BOSSES FARM
We stopped off at bosses farm to pick up boss for our michigan shows. Boss lives on 5 lovely acres with dogs, horses and pigs. I let Kora go exploring before we hit the road.

Not to be outdone by the fabulous Nola, Kora joined in on the action.
She walked the path with the valedictorian, did some sit/down stays, passed people dogs, and of course, got to run around off leash and just enjoy the freedom that comes with having a well trained dog!
Kora, who was once suoer anxious about riding in the van, now cannot get enough of her comfy crate.
I always suggest having dogs ride in crates while traveling. Nothing would be worse that having your dog become a furry projectile in the case of an accident.

Yesterday we drove from MD to VA to meet Scott halfway to Tennessee to reuinte him with his bloodthirsty beast, Nola. 🫶🏼
We met up in the same parking lot that she wanted to kill me in 4 weeks ago and Nola emerged from the van a brand new dog. The reunion made me happy🥹😭❤️
After eating lunch, we drove to a local park to do the go home session. Of course its a random place that none of us have ever been to.

I took Kora to the tow path to work on her commands and start to really practice her obedience in public places. She got to run off leash by the river and had a great time splashing around and blowing bubbles in the water. 🥹
She likes the van now, and cant wait to load into her comfy crate and head off to the next fun adventure.

Yesterday I took Nola and 5 of my personal dogs on an off leash walk on the tow path. There were very few people and and I was able to get some cool footage of the dogs heeling with me on the trail. Nola had a blast running around at the river and even got to take commands from someone she just met for the first time.
*spoiler alert: no one died*
Today Nola got a bath, blow dry, and brush out. Tomorrow she goes home!

I needed some dog food so I took Kora out into the real world to practice. She did great holding her heel position in the store as we navigated through the aisles around customers.
She did great walking next to the shopping cart, and held her stay while picked up a very scary bag of dog food. (I noticed big dog food bags/boxes will send her running)

KORA HEEL, STAY

We are back with Kora, who over the last few days has had lots of new experiences and has picked up a few more useful commands.
First she demonstrates her HEEL command. Looking good looking conifdent looking calm. 💪🏼 She also has a nice STAY we have been working on. Looking fabulous. Afterwards we burned some cardboard and hung out off leash in the front yard.
My favorite part is making noise and carrying weird objects that used to send her freaking out and running into the next room. Even picking up a small amazon package sent her running for the hills. I spend half the day picking up weird objects that I dont need to carry and placing them randomly throughout the house.

The moment of truth has arrived. The downtown walk is the walk I use to test my training to see if there are any holes.
Nola held all of her commands and her heel position beautifully despite all that was going on around her. She was sligjtly nervous, as this is her first time downtown but she settled in pretty quickly and had a good time. We strolled for a while, then ran around off leash a little bit, and had a successful walk back to the van. We passed lots of people, strollers, bikes, endless traffic and other dogs passing.
