Twitchy needed his water changed out! We let him out and let him go where he wanted to to stretch & when he went back in, straight in to his fresh clean water for a soak!

We have a new rescue here at the Serpentarium! Thanks to our partner CMPD Animal Care and Control we were able to get him and get him set up in his new forever home! We are going to rename him, any suggestions?! He looks to be a normal Het Pied ball python & is about 7 years old!

Cleaning some tanks tonight & Agera The Retic says she wants to come out! Open her cage door and this is all I get from her! She just wanted to watch me!!!! Twitchy The Retic on the other hand said I’ll take advantage of that & is out and about!

This is what a hungry Reticulated Python looks like, this is when you don’t want to just stick your hand/limb in their enclosure, that would be asking to get bit! However, isn’t Agera looking great today! 😍😍

Feeding day here at the Serpentarium! All of the snakes are but one! Unfortunately I forgot to get a picture of Rayn the Sunfire Het Purple Retic eating her rat pups but I got the rest of them! Enjoy you guys! Which one is your favorite to see eat? Let me know in the comments & be on the lookout for new additions soon!

Had an exciting time at the park with some locals who were really interested in Stache! So nice to see that people aren’t as afraid of snakes as you would think! Some people were standoffish as were some kids but all in all it was an excellent time of teaching and learning! Thanks to all who participated and approached me asking to see Stache, the Boa Constrictor Imperator!

Feeding day once again here at Drew’s Serpentarium! Out of the 15 that we have 14 of them have full bellies today! Brock, our Mystic Pewter Ball Python decided he wasn’t hungry today! Here are pictures of some of them! It’s a very busy time so I wasn’t able to get them all! Tell me in the comments below which ones you’d like to see more of or which are your favorites!

We have added two more to the Serpentarium! We have two more reticulated pythons with us now! Just look at the sheer size of the male(first three pictures) & the size of the female as well! Completely beautiful creatures and such a pleasure to get to work with them this evening! Hopefully more happy memories to come! To all those joining the page I would like to welcome you & give a brief explanation of what is going on. I have decided to start a serpentarium in Shelby. For those of you who are unaware of what it is, it’s basically a zoo but for snakes & it will include other reptiles as well. This is the start of starting it up. I’m going to be trying to do birthday party presentations as well as school presentations when the new school year commences & a booth at the fair. Shall enough interest be generated I will officially open a building up for visitors to view, hold & even feed snakes of different breeds and sizes! If you would be interested in this please let me know in the comments below! Thank you all for liking the page, please share with your friends!
