It’s that time again our basic obedience training class is about to start up. OUR MOTTO: “WE TEACH YOU TO TRAIN YOUR DOG” by using positive reinforcement, proper body language and communication with your canine companion. There is a lot of walking involved in this class. If you have special needs, please let us know so we can accommodate as best as possible.

WHEN: Classes are held on MONDAY nights. WEEK 1, ORIENTATION FOR ALL ENROLEES is February 10, 2020 at 6:00 PM NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED THIS FIRST WEEK. Regular class times are either 6:00PM or 7:15 Please indicate preferred class time on your application.

WHERE: National Guard Armory, 1015 W. South Ave., Ponca City

COST: $60.00 for 8 weeks of basic obedience training. If you attended the Fall 2019 Class or have a certificate of adoption from a shelter or rescue, you will receive a $10 credit towards the cost of this class.

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Applications will be accepted in the order they are received. Please complete an application and mail with the fee (check or Money Order) to:
Kay-9 Dog Training Club, P.O. Box 2746, Ponca City, OK 74602.

APPLICATIONS: Available at veterinarians’ offices in Kay County. Current immunizations are required! Space is provided on the application for this information.

We also offer AKC Canine Good Citizen Testing & STAR Puppy Class – These will be explained at Orientation. Puppies (under 12 months) will have a special time allotted for “Puppy Etiquette & Socializing”. The Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test is held during Graduation on Week 8
