Hand-rolled sourdough bagels – Boiled and baked the old-fashioned way. Flavors today:

Bread has sold.. Thank you for the continued support.

We've got a few Original and Flavored Sourdough Artisan loaves left from this morning that didnt sell. Stop by 123 South Prentice Rd and grab one or two from the farm stand. Prices have been marked down. We also have a few dozen eggs in the fridge. The eggs are as always on a pay what you can system.

Big Things Brewing at Wildflower Roost… ☕️🍞🌻

If we’ve seemed a little quieter lately, it’s not because we’ve been napping in the hammock (though, let’s be honest, that sounds nice 😏).

Behind the scenes, our bread game has been booming! Loaves flying out of the oven and into happy hands faster than we can bake them. 🍞🔥 And that’s just one piece of the puzzle.

We’ve also been knee-deep in building coops and enclosures, late-night planning sessions, and some top-secret moves that have us buzzing like bees in spring. 🐝

We can’t spill the whole story yet, but here’s what we can say…
We’re growing. We’re changing. And our next chapter is going to bring more of what you love — plus a huge surprise we think you’ll be over-the-moon about. 🌙

If there is one thing about our family, it's we love food and everything involving food. We love to try new things and cook with what we have on hand. Most people would call us an ingredients household. I grew up in a prepackaged household while my husband came from an ingredients household. For our whole 13 plus years he has come up with random food ideas and it took me the longest time to figure out how to do that myself. We don't eat prepackaged food often now, if it's anyone it's me doing it 🤷🏽‍♀️ but that has taught me how to cook from scratch more, hence learning how to maintain and make sourdough. The cooking from the pantry has rubbed off on our children too. Its a random Thursday in July and this is the lunch my 10 and 14 year old sons made for themselves while I cleaned up my bread baking stuff.

It is left over spaghetti noodles from last nights dinner with sautéed onions, a pan seared tuna steak that was soaked in a homemade marinated, cooked and topped with a homemade teriyaki sauce, sesame seeds and dried chives. The marinated and teriyaki sauce was also made by the 14 year old. If he doesn't go to culinary school and become a chef he is really missing his calling, he loves to cook and it is always delicious.
