Hurricane prep. 🌀 Free microchips & vaccines. Dogs ONLY. Tomorrow (Tuesday) from 11:00-1:00 at the Ponchatoula Lions Club.

The goal of this very last minute event is to get dogs microchipped before the storm comes. If your dog is already microchipped, please do NOT attend this event. We will have another free vaccine event locally on September 22, which is less than two weeks away. Details/times/location will be posted soon. Please bring the whole crew then.

🏠 No residency restrictions, everyone from everywhere is welcome!
⏰ No appointment necessary.
🐕‍🦺 Dogs on leashes.
😊Friendly animals only please.
🚙 Drive thru style so please stay in your car.
There may be a long line so bring your patience and a snack. We will get to everyone that's in line no matter how long it takes (unless the police close us down, again).

🐾 Community Alert: Lost Dog - Please Help Find Rose! 🐾

A community member reached out to us for help in finding their lost dog, Rose. Rose is a 2-year-old Husky puppy who was last seen this morning in the Village Oaks subdivision off 22, near BBQ Station.

She has a distinctive grey and white coat and bright, expressive eyes. Rose is friendly but might be scared, so please approach her gently if you see her.

If you have any information on Rose’s whereabouts or have seen her, please contact us, and we’ll connect you with her owner.

Please help bring Rose home safely! 🐶❤️

Today, we’re shining a light on one of our regular guests, Raya! This sweet, relaxed German Shepherd has been a part of the Happy Tails family for a while, and we couldn’t be happier to have her. ❤️

Raya has a special place in our hearts—not just because she’s such a gentle soul, but because she’s been our buddy Oso’s loyal shadow since her very first visit. Wherever Oso goes, you can bet Raya isn’t far behind, keeping a watchful eye and sharing in all the fun. 🐕‍🦺🐾
