It’s been a super busy and amazing couple weeks! Loving the weather change and the chance to get things caught up on the property but my favorite parts have been the experiences off property!
Long over due congratulations to Gayla Miles who was able to ride her wonderful gelding Bam Bam (Finest Hour) down centerline for the first time. They were the picture of relaxation and accuracy as they scored a 68% and 67% winning both their classes!
Jennifer Zauel was able to present Unforgettable WF “Cole” and his dam Kulinda at the KWPN Keuring this past weekend. Unforgettable was rated first premium and his dam Kulinda was high scoring mare! I’m excited for my future with Cole 🥰
Kass and I cantered down centerline at fourth level for the first time this weekend and In true Kass fashion we had some trouble settling the first day but while mistakes were made he shows the promise of an amazing competitive edge (once we achieve more maturity). Day two a huge improvement in scores and while still some mistakes this gives me a ton of confidence that we are finally on the right track! Thank you Layne Codanti for your support and some very helpful pointers shortly before the show that really tweaked our performance.
Selena Copeland and Magik put in a good performance at 2nd level….mastering the counter canter and scoring very well in spite of it being extremely hot and humid. Super happy will all the hard work they are putting in to reach their goals to earn a bronze medal….third level here they come!
Congrats to Maddie Roundtree for taking her lovely young mare Parlay down centerline for the first time earning very very respectable scores on day one. Her mare shows great potential and a solid brain!!!! Day two, what can you say….she is just a baby!!!
Super job everyone and I look forward to a peaceful and successful year! Beyond proud of everyone and all the horses!
