𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐒.𝐀.𝐘 𝐒𝟎𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐥𝐍𝐆 , 𝐥𝐓 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐏𝐒 𝐘𝟎𝐔 𝐂𝟎𝐍𝐓𝐥𝐍𝐔𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐥𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐘 𝐏𝟎𝐒𝐓𝐒! 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝟎𝐔! ♥️
Creamy Chicken Lasagna with White Sauce 😍🥘🇮🇹
Ingredients:
9 lasagna noodles
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups milk (or almond milk for a dairy-free option)
1/2 cup chicken broth (no alcohol)
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, drain, and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sautéing until onion is translucent.
Add mushrooms and continue to sauté until mushrooms are soft.
Stir in flour, cooking for one minute before gradually whisking in milk and chicken broth to avoid lumps. Bring to a simmer and cook until sauce thickens.
Stir in nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, half of the mozzarella, and half of the parmesan.
To assemble, spread a thin layer of white sauce in the bottom of a baking dish. Layer three lasagna noodles, followed by half the chicken, half the ricotta mixture, and a third of the remaining white sauce. Repeat layers.
Top with remaining noodles, white sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan.
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until top is golden and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
