Our first ever Trick or Treat with Horses was a resounding success! We had so many awesome people stop by the barn today to visit with the horses, give them treats and collect treats to take home with them. It was so incredible to see so many people, both young and young at heart, interacting with the horses and learn how to feed treats properly and get comfortable petting them, etc. Our horses loved this event so much ( probably because they love the treats) and asked if we can do it again tomorrow! Well, we can’t do it tomorrow, but we can definitely do it again next year! This will become an annual thing without a doubt. Many of the people who attended the event this evening were inquiring about getting their kids and themselves involved with horses and possibly looking into lessons or camps or other activities. Come out and trick or treat with our horses before hitting the neighborhoods on Friday! All are welcome, totally free, just show up! Costumes would be cool but not required. Horses will be in costume! We are located right off of Rt. 28 just outside of Poolesville (18205 Darnestown Rd.). 👻

This show series is for riders in grades 5-12 who would like to represent their school at a horse show! It's an inexpensive way to show and a school team can be any number of riders. Participating schools are from all over the DMV area, both public and private!
