Farrier tip Tuesday: Something I do every year while most of my Cutting show horses have a little time off during November and December is pull the shoes for a cycle(if I can, obviously lots of variables here). It does so much to revitalize the foot, encourage blood flow, sole and hoof wall growth. (Yes, sometimes they chip up.) However, we can have most of that grown out in a cycle. The rejuvination of the foot still happens though; most of the time allowing me to start off the new year with a fresh hoof. Cheers to 2025!

We are thankful to have an amazing farrier on our team, especially while hauling! We have a busy schedule going up and down the road and Jordan Skeith is always there to make sure our horses are shod on time, even if it means meeting us to get the job done! We are so thankful for you, Jordan! 🙌🏼

Good morning friends! I very rarely post any case studies; however this was one I couldn't pass up. This horse had a lot going on that led to a quarter crack on the medial side. After months of working on him and maintaining him, he is home and back to work! Thank you so much to the client and Pete May at Premier Equine Podiatry for helping us set this horse up for success!

As the American Performance Horseman is about 3 hours away from starting, we want to wish all contestants good luck!! We are cheering for all the teams and these amazing equine athletes! We are so thankful we get the opportunity to work on some of these incredible horses! Tonight, we will be wearing orange!
