We are a local 501c3 non profit rescue based out of Pope valley CA we foster in Sonoma/ Napa/lake Counties/Marin

We are a foster home based rescue meaning all our dogs are in foster homes with people/families, not in a shelter like environment. Soft Paws Rescue focuses on all breeds of dogs, but mainly neo-natal high risk puppies and their mamas. We take dogs off of death row at high kill shelte

‼️ 🐾 **Urgent Call for Help: Dog Rescue in Need!** 🐾

Our Soft Paws dog rescue team welcomed two incredible mama dogs, each with their own adorable litters—one with 6 puppies and the other with 7! In addition, we have a pregnant mama dog who needs special care and support. These sweet souls have been through so much, and now they're safe with us, but we urgently need your help to provide them with the care they deserve.

With our fosters at full capacity, we are reaching out to our community for donations. Here’s how you can help:

✨ **P*e Pads**: With so many little paws, we go through these quickly! Your donations will help keep our space clean and comfortable for our furry friends.

🍽️ **Dog Food**: We need high-quality puppy food and adult dog food to nourish our mamas and their pups. Every meal counts! Taste of the wild

❤️ **Monetary Donations**: If you can’t donate supplies, monetary contributions are greatly appreciated. Every dollar goes directly to the care of these dogs, including vet visits, food, and supplies.

Meet Curly Sue and her 6 pups! She was found in an abandoned house and taken by animal control.

We were able to rescue her and she flew in Wednesday Morning! She is a poodle mix and about 3 years old. She will need to get groomed asap.

She was on protection mode ever since she got caught but is doing MUCH better! We so appreciate everyone involved in getting them to rescue!

Meet Sprinkles! This sweet lady is looking for her forever home! She was a mama to 5 pups.

She is good with all size dogs, cats, and people including respectful kids!

She is a cuddle bug and will follow you around.
She is approximately 1-2 years old and is a poodle mix. She came to us very malnourished and skinny with her curly fur matted and had to get groomed. She is about 10lbs and could gain a bit more.

Not a barker.
She is good at jumping up on the couch or bed!

We’re thrilled to announce that our dog rescue will be setting up a Halloween booth at this year’s Cotati Candyland event! Mark your calendars for a day filled with fun, treats, and adorable adoptable puppies!

**📍 Location:** La Plaza Park in Cotati
**⏰ Time:** 2-5

Bring your little ghouls and goblins to enjoy a delightful day of trick-or-treating at various booths, where kids can collect candy and enjoy festive activities. Our booth will feature:

“Just wanted to give u guys an update on Oma now Mia. She fits in perfect. Our cat one other pup are super interested. My 23 yr old tired her out playing with toys and running around for the first couple hrs. Our pup and her have became best friends. Our Tuko has taken her on like his own. 🎃 Calling All Volunteers for Our Halloween Booth! 🎃

Hello, Soft Paws Rescue Family! As we gear up for our spooktacular Halloween event, we need your help to make it a success! We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with our Halloween booth for the Cotati Candyland at the La Plaza park. Oct. 31st. Event is 2-5.

**Shifts Available:**
- **Set Up:** 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
- **Break Down:** 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM

**Duties Include:**
- Helping with set up or break down of the booth (table, game and flyers etc)
- Monitoring games and handing out candy and non-candy items
- Optionally answering questions about fostering or volunteering with Soft Paws Rescue

This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with the community, share our mission, and have a fun time while supporting our furry friends! If you’re interested in volunteering, please comment below or send us a message.

🌟 Meet Our Special Trio: The Deaf Puppies! 🐾

We are excited to introduce three adorable puppies who are not just full of love but also uniquely special. Despite being deaf, these little furballs don’t let anything hold them back from enjoying life to the fullest!

1. **Tater Tot** - This playful girl has a heart of gold! Tater Tot loves to explore her surroundings and is always ready for a game of fetch. With her keen sense of smell, she can find treats hidden around the house, and her joyful spirit is contagious!

2. **Frances** - Frances is a sweet cuddle bug who thrives on affection. He may not hear you call his name, but he’ll feel your love when you scoop him up for a snuggle.

3. **Stella** - The energetic adventurer of the group, Stella is always on the move! She loves to play with her siblings and enjoys outdoor adventures. Stella is a quick learner.

Though they face challenges, Stella, Tater Tot, Frances are thriving and ready to find their forever homes! If you’re interested in adopting or supporting these precious pups, please reach out. Together, we can show them that love knows no boundaries! ❤️🐶

Hi! I’m Sprinkles!
I came from Southern California with my pups on a plane. I was so malnourished and my fur was super matted. I got taken care of as I raised my pups. Now I am ready to find my forever home.

Will you adopt me? Please?

I’m super sweet. When I get to know you, I open up pretty quick, but want to make sure I won’t get hurt. I LOVE to stay by my people and get loves.

I sleep through the night in bed with my foster mom, her dog and cats. I like kids that are calm and respectful. I am 2 years old, around 10lbs and am starting to find that dog toys are fun! I also get zoomies and love making nests out of blankets!

I’m nervous of outside but am starting to know how exciting it is. Please help me know new experiences are ok!

I am p*e pad trained and am working on getting the courage to go outside more with the help of my foster mom.
