We are a foster home based rescue meaning all our dogs are in foster homes with people/families, not in a shelter like environment. Soft Paws Rescue focuses on all breeds of dogs, but mainly neo-natal high risk puppies and their mamas. We take dogs off of death row at high kill shelte

Sending positive vibes to Victoria as she is heading to surgery!

Update from her mom: Just an update Victoria is out of surgery the doctor said everything went well. . Going into recovery right now. She’ll be resting for the next 24 hours thank you everybody for your prayers and your positive vibes to my daughter.

Victoria, is the president of Soft Paws Rescue and is a devoted dog rescuer, a loving wife, a wonderful mom, and an amazing friend. She has courageously put off surgery for a tumor on her spine, prioritizing the dogs she rescues over her own health.

Now, we need to rally around her and send all the positive juju we can muster! Let’s show her that the same love she gives to the dogs.

We are thrilled to introduce you to Daisy, our sweet mama dog, and her precious litter of 12-day-old puppies! 🐶❤️

Daisy is a loving and devoted mom, and she’s been doing an amazing job caring for her little ones. Each puppy is unique, with their own personality just starting to shine through! They love to cuddle, play, and explore their cozy nest.

Mama dog is giving birth RIGHT NOW!!

So far two girls!! How many pups do you think she will have?

She came to the shelter as a stray, did her stray hold and we rescued her from the shelter just a few days ago.

Thankfully she is able to give birth in a warm, and quiet home!

Update on Nova!!!

Remember Nova? She is a brave mama dog who was rescued just in time while pregnant. After an emergency C-section, she gave birth to seven pups, but sadly only two survived.

One compassionate lady, who has adopted from us before, fell in love with Nova and stayed in touch during her recovery. She knew Nova was the one for her, and now, we're thrilled to share that Nova has found her forever home!

🎉🐾 **Congratulations on Spike's Adoption!** 🐾🎉

We are thrilled to announce that Spike has officially found his forever home! At just 6 months old, this little guy has already had quite an adventure.

Spike's journey began when Good Samaritans rescued his mama while she was pregnant, bringing her to Soft Paws Rescue. She gave birth to a beautiful litter of puppies, and Spike (originally Skipper) was one of the lucky ones!

Though he was adopted early on, life took an unexpected turn, and he was returned through no fault of his own. After a few meet-and-greets and some canceled appointments, we are overjoyed to share that Spike has finally found the perfect match!

We want to thank everyone who supported Spike during his journey, especially his amazing foster mom Lora Obergfell

We can't wait to see all the wonderful memories he will create in his new home! Congratulations, Spike and your new family! 💖🐶
