Our latest takes us to Anchor & Hope Farm, where Gansett, whose offspring won three races in nine days at Laurel Park earlier this month, delivered a c**t by Holy Boss on March 27! He was bred by Paul Berube, Karen Linnell, and Spinnaker Hill Farm.

His half-sister, Touisset, runs today at Laurel, and his half-brother, Captain Quint, is entered for tomorrow.

This Joel Politi-homebred filly was a three-time winner in Maryland last year. Her biggest win came in the Stormy Blues Stakes at Laurel Park in June, which also propelled her to the tile of Champion 3YO Filly! She's a daughter of Anchor & Hope Farm stallion Holy Boss.

Congratulations to our 2023 Champion 3YO Filly, Bosserati!

This Joel Politi-homebred filly made her stakes debut a winning one last June at Laurel Park, when she won the Storm Blues Stakes! A daughter of Anchor & Hope Farm stallion Holy Boss, Bosserati sported a record of 3-0-0 in six starts last year, with earnings of $125,900.

The Maryland Renaissance Awards finalists have been announced by Maryland Thoroughbred! Double Crown by Bourbon Courage is up for Maryland-Bred Champion Older Male and Maryland Dirt Horse of the Year. Bosserati by Holy Boss is nominated for Maryland-Bred Champion 3 Year Old Filly, Maryland-Bred Champion Turf Runner and Maryland Female Turf Horse. The winners will be announced starting February 26th!

Double Crown won his second stakes of the year on Saturday at Laurel Park, taking the Robert T. Manfuso Stakes by a nose in a 10-1 upset! He's now a 9-time winner in his career with earnings of $838,185.

The son of Anchor & Hope Farm's Bourbon Courage was bred by Dr. & Mrs. Thomas Bowman & Rebecca Davis. He's owned by Built Wright Stables LLC, trained by Raymond Ginter Jr, and ridden by Jeiron Barbosa.

We welcomed our son, Max McLane Merryman, into the family on December 16, 2022 – born prematurely at just 24 weeks, weighing in at 1lb 11oz & 13 inches. We're in the business of beating odds, and Max left Tufts Hospital in Boston, after 120 days on April 15, 2023, at a very solid, handsome and healthy 7 pounds 10 ounces and 20.5 inches long.

The Trading Post is Anchor & Hope's latest venture, created during Max's time in the NICU, as an authentic extension of the Anchor & Hope brand. The Trading Post offers products that are high quality and resilient, ready to wear for whatever the day throws at you.
