With the holidays approaching, I know puppy breeders are busier than ever.

Please help prevent another family from going through the heartbreak we, and many other families are experiencing after purchasing a puppy from Michele Harvey aka Michele’s puppies aka Harvey huskies out of Port Leyden, NY.

Michele is an awful human, knowingly continuing to breed very sick dogs. She does not do health checks and has zero integrity. When families contact her about her sick pups, she ignores and blocks them, lies and says she has never had any issues with her dogs. That is a total lie.

With so many reputable breeders that care about the health, wellness & happiness of their pups, stay away from Michele. Better yet- adopt. I wish we had. The only way to stop her is to put her out of business by not purchasing her pups.

This is what we are dealing with.

I know it’s hard to watch, but my kids have to witness this because of the reckless breeding by Michele Harvey. This was a mild seizure compared to the rest.

This is the chance you are taking when you purchase a puppy from Michele Harvey, aka Michele’s puppies, aka Harvey Huskies. Trust me it’s not worth it. She sees these dogs as 💰💰 nothing more. She doesn’t care that she continues to breed sick dogs.

Our hearts are broken.

We stop her by sharing & not buying her sick dogs. Put her out of business and stop these poor pups from suffering. 😭

Tell her to stop this! Stop breeding! Don’t allow another family the heartbreak of what we are currently going through. She needs to be shut down. There are MANY more families like ours with her sick dogs…👇

These are real experiences from families who have a dog from Michele Harvey.

I’m sitting here with my kids, while we watch our pup to make sure he doesn’t hurt himself as he battles seizures & i am wondering what kind of sick person can knowingly keep breeding dogs with seizures.

What kind of human can see these videos, can know there are many, many of her dogs suffering and she continues to spread these conditions with every single litter?

What kind of human hangs up the phone on heartbroken families calling about the sick dogs she sold them?

How can Michele Harvey sleep at night knowing families hearts are being broken wide open because of her actions?

Our dog was a Christmas present to our son. Now our kids have to watch their pup endure these seizures.

What does Michele do? Hang up the phone on us. Block our numbers from calling her. Blocks us on social media. And continues to breed sick pups. I do believe everything comes full circle, what you put into this world comes back to you. It’s not looking so good for michele.

There were 3 dogs out of our pups litter alone, that I know of, who suffer from seizures. That’s not a coincidence. While researching Michele, I have found SO MANY HEARTBROKEN 💔 families with sick dogs from Michele. When we call her about it, she blocks us.

All you need to know about a person is how they treat animals. Michele is disgusting. The best way to stop her, is to share this so people STOP buying her dogs. PUT HER OUT OF BUSINESS!

Since Michele Harvey ghosted us after our dog started having seizures at 10-11 months old & she scammed us out of the AKC papers we paid for, I started to do some research. I found out that we are far from alone, many of the dogs that came from her are sick (among other issues) & Michele won’t take their calls either.

This is not how a reputable breeder who cares about her pups behaves. This is not how a reputable business owner behaves. And this isn’t how someone who loves animals behaves.

Our sweet boy and all of the others do not deserve this. Our family doesn’t deserve this. Our kids don’t deserve this.

Please think twice and do your research before buying a husky puppy from Michele Harvey of Port Leyden, NY.

We are not alone, I have found so many families with a dog from Michele who are dealing with medical issues.

So far I have found 2 other dogs from our pups litter that are also suffering from seizures. So that means at least THREE sick dogs from one litter alone. That’s not a coincidence, that’s the terrible breeding.

Michele is a terrible human who is nothing more than a backyard breeder & glorified puppy mill. We stop her by not buying her sick pups. 😞

WHY does anyone need this many dogs? How can she give them all the attention they need? She once told me how much huskies love their families… how is she loving on this many living in these filthy glorified cages?

These poor pups live in here so she can use them for breeding. That’s it. She is inbreeding. The dogs are sick. She doesn’t know who many of the pups parents are. She is knowingly spreading severe conditions like seizures & renal failure.

Do not buy a Husky from Michele Harvey out of Port Leyden, NY. With so many reputable and kind breeders who act with integrity and genuinely love their dogs… don’t take a chance with Michele. There are too many of us with terrible experiences. 🥹😞😭

Today, another Husky or Malamute owner had to make the gut wrenching decision to have his dog put down because of congential health problems. In my field, this is an all too common occurrence.

Another beloved dog loses his struggle against congenital health defects that cut short his life. Why? Because far too many people feel that all they need to be a dog breeder is to put two dogs together and then they sit back and watch the money roll in from the sale of the puppies. Just because you can, does not mean you should breed dogs.

These people don't bother using superior quality breeding stock that come from tested clean lines. They don't bother taking the time to learn about how to support the best possible genetic offspring through great breed specific nutrition. They have no idea about the best diet to feed these dogs.

And where are these breeders when their "product" turns out to be an unhealthy dog and where are these breeders when the owners have to shell out huge sums of money to the Vet as they desperately try to save the failing health of their beloved pet? Where are these breeders when owners are grieving the loss of their beloved pet because the dog's health could not be improved?

These breeders are no where to be found and not returning your calls because they won't be assuming any responsibility for the dogs they produced.

Unless prospective dog owners take the responsibility to be discriminiating about the breeders they buy from, then you are setting yourself up for the heartache that comes along with owning a sick dog.

1. Check out the breeder and his facility before agreeing to buy one of his dogs.

2. Know the signs of a bad breeder with poor quality dogs.

3. Know the congenital problems associated with the breed that you are interested in getting and ask for proof of tested lines.

4. Ask about the diet currently being fed to his breeding dogs.

Don't shop for dogs sight unseen over the internet.
Don't buy dogs based on a "good deal" that someone will give you on a puppy.
Don't keep lousy breeders in business by buying their horrible quality product because this will very likely be the end result for your dog too.

To all the dogs who I could not help save, I will not let your life be forgotten. Your suffering will not be in vain. I will continue to demand best practice from breeders and I will continue to educate owners to be able to identify breeders not using best practice. I will keep preaching and nagging about the need for great health through healthy nutrition with the last breath in my body so that dogs are not dying from preventable illnesses.

I will continue to be the voice for the voiceless. This is my solemn vow.

Michele is back at it again, advertising her Christmas puppies. PLEASE take my advice, do NOT buy a puppy from her. They are in**ed and sick. She is knowingly spreading seizures and many other disorders. I wish I did my research before buying my kids a Christmas puppy from her two years ago. The past two years have been hell. Our guy started having seizures before he even turned one. Such a heartbreaking experience. 😭

These are just a handful of testimonies of people who have a Michele Harvey husky. There are so many more, it will take me a bit to go through them and black out peoples names.

Michele is a terrible human who is inbreeding her huskies leaving them with terrible, oftentimes untreatable seizures. We have spent an outrage amount of money trying to help our poor pup.

Michele lies, she blocks people when they contact her about their sick dogs, she knows she is breeding dogs with seizures, spreading this horrendous condition and she simply doesn’t care.

The best way to STOP HER is to stop buying her dogs! Share this information! These poor pups do not deserve this. With so many good, loving breeders out there, please do not take a chance with a Michele Harvey husky. She has no integrity.

How many of those pups will be sick?
How many will suffer uncontrollable seizures?
How many families will suffer the same heartbreak we are currently experiencing?! 💔

She has 13 dogs currently for sale, that’s over $20,000!! I guess for Michele Harvey, greed took the place of integrity because instead of caring about the pups, she clearly cares more about the money.

The best way to shut her down is for people to STOP BUYING HER DOGS! Why take the chance of having the same experience as us & many, many others, when there are so many good, reputable breeders who treat their pups like family.

This was our guy most of the day yesterday. 😭Sometimes we can tell when the seizures are on their way by certain behaviors & by looking at his eyes. When this happens we increase his meds in hopes of keeping the seizures away. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. The terrible part of this is it makes it really hard for our guy to get up and walk. Most of the time he will go to the bathroom wherever he is laying. You can imagine the messes that result from this. If he does get up it’s like he is drunk. He walks into & through everything. It’s sad because his mind is working, his body is not. We often have to put him in his crate just to keep him safe. It’s sad because all of the meds have changed him. I am still hoping it will even out over time, and we will get our spunky, energetic, mischievous little guy back, and another part of me isn’t so sure how much time we will actually have with him. This whole experience has been heartbreaking to say the least. Did I mention this pup was our sons Christmas present? 😭

After we contacted Michele about our pups health issues she stopped taking our calls and blocked us on social media, that pushed me to do some research. I found that we are far from alone, and she has done this to many more families. I even found another pup from our guys litter experiencing seizures as well, and guess what… Michele ghosted them too. This is NOT a reputable breeder, this is not how a reputable breeder behaves. If I prevent just one family from experiencing this pain by sharing our story, it was worth it. However Michele belongs behind bars. She is nothing but a glorified puppy mill. I also didn’t receive the proper AKC paperwork from Michele, which is what I paid for & she will not take my calls. Others have accused her of inbreeding & lying about their pups parents, and I would be surprised if she knew who our guys parents are. If she did, what’s the problem? Why can’t she provide me the info I paid for? At $1650 a puppy & multiple litters at a time, it looks like took the place of for Michele.

She has over 80 dogs. She is being accused of inbreeding! She lies about the parents of her puppies! She doesn’t allow people on her property! She is passing along serious genetic conditions & does not do health checks! Michele conveniently left out the information we need to register our dog with the American Kennel Club, and once she knew our pup was sick, she stopped taking our calls and blocked us from social media. Now we can’t register our pup & we paid for that. After doing some research I learned we are not alone and she has done this to many more families!

When Michele Harvey makes $1650 off of one puppy, has multiple litters at a time, it’s clear that greed has taken the place of integrity for her. She doesn’t care that her dogs are suffering. That the families & children are suffering. She cares about the money.

A reputable breeder would never behave like this. A reputable breeder cares about their animals & would not continue to breed sick dogs. She needs to be SHUT DOWN.

‼️⚠️I am sorry to post this again, believe me, I know it’s difficult to watch, imagine what we feel living through it. Imagine how my kids feel. Imagine how our dog feels. He has had two seizures just this morning. His meds are doubled. We upped his cbd. I am at a total loss right now and what’s even worse, watching my kids deal with this. My heart is broken.

However, I am going to post everything that happens with our pup. Michele can hang up the phone on me, but she can’t run from this forever. A reputable breeder would go to the end of the earth to make sure she was not spreading these conditions, instead Michele lies & blocks us. So many pups suffering at her hands, she is spreading these conditions through each litter. I saw a video of her grounds & she has so many dogs. It makes sense she would have no idea who the pups parents were so no wonder she doesn’t have our dogs parents info. 😭

This morning I found a family whose dog came from the same litter as our guy, a sibling! Unfortunately, their dog is sick too, with epilepsy. Their vet told them to reach out to Michele, they did and Michele disappeared. At least two dogs with epilepsy from the same litter and she wants us to think it’s a coincidence. Michele says all of her dogs are healthy & she never heard of them having seizures. Michele is a LIAR, the worst kind, the kind that hurts innocent animals just to make a buck. 😭😭

Again, I would appreciate it if you would SHARE this. That’s the power of social media. We can get the word out. We can stop Michele & we can prevent other families from experiencing this heartbreak. 💔

I also looked over my paperwork last night as I was sending it to the other the people & organizations that can help us and she didn’t even give me what we needed. She conveniently left out who our dogs parents were & their akc numbers so we could register our dog. Other families have told me she did this to them & she also lied about who their dogs parents were and others had problems registering their dogs as well.

‼️These are the grounds we were not allowed to see when we picked up our sweet Tremor. I have talked to two people who made it up her driveway, but the majority of people I talked to said she had some story as to why she had to meet at the end of the driveway.

The people that made it up there say she has well over 80-100 dogs and by looking at this, it’s no surprise she is inbreeding and can’t tell us who our dogs parents are. We paid for an akc registered puppy & she won’t tell me our dogs parents akc numbers so we can register him. In fact she hangs up on me. Why? Does she even know who his parents are? She took our $1650 & we got an unregistered, very sick dog. Who we love to the moon, it’s not his fault Michele is a terrible human. I wont stop until she is shut down, no more of her dogs are suffering and families are not experiencing this absolute heartbreak.

If you are buying a purebred dog from a breeder, please make sure you do your research. Search online & on social media to see what others experiences are. Just because they are American Kennel Club breeders does not make them trustworthy or responsible breeders. I learned the hard way.

❗️Make sure you are able to check out the facility. If they don’t allow you on property, there is a reason & you should run the other way. Michele didn’t allow us up her driveway, insisting on meeting us at the very end of it. I later learned she had an excuse to meet most of her clients at the end of her driveway as well. Huge red flag.

❗️Go over your paperwork before you leave with your puppy. This one is tough because you are so excited to bring your pet home, but it’s important. I didn’t look at ours & if I did I would have noticed Michele Harvey left our very important information. She also scribbled in the spot on the form we were supposed to sign, I’m pretty sure that’s forgery. I was supposed to get a dog with papers, but she purposely left out his parents akc numbers. I have tried calling her many times, and in the rare occurance that she answers (she screens her calls) she hangs up on me as soon as I ask about this.

❗️Make sure the breeder does full health checks. Im not taking about the paper from the vet that says they’re good to go. Make sure they check the bloodlines to make sure they are not spreading any health conditions or inbreeding. Michele told me NY doesn’t allow breeders to give out anything from their vet. She is a liar.
