Our hearts are broken here at the shelter. Unfortunately, our sweet Penny has been returned. She was returned for being "Too affectionate". Unfortunately, her adopters were not willing to allow her time to settle into her new home after being cooped up in a kennel at the shelter. Sadly this happens quite often. Penny is such a sweet girl, very loving, she has never shown any aggression. We very much want to find her a home that will welcome all the love that she has to give. Penny is just under 3 years old, a black cur mix, and weighs around 45 pounds (she needs to lose weight). Congratulations to the Peacock family for their amazing puzzle-solving skills and egg-hunting abilities. This adorable egg was located at the Beacon Hill Veterans’ Memorial dog park, underneath the agility ramp.🐾❤️ Just take a moment and look at that gorgeous furry girl, Ms. Sydney. She’s so happy her sister helped her find the prize winning egg! 🥹😍🐶 We can’t wait to see you next month Sydney, enjoy your Easter. Congratulations to whom ever found the Easter egg located at what we like to call the Lighthouse Park where we are known to take all of her amazing, furry babies to go walk and play by the bay. The Beautiful Easter egg was under the gazebo by the Lighthouse!! We hope whoever you are that you and your fur baby enjoy your Easter surprise, and we hope to see pictures🤞🏼🥰. With Easter right around the corner we are going to try something a little different this year. A doggy- Easter-egg-hunt/Scavenger-hunt leading up to Easter Sunday. We will be posting a riddle daily, hinting where the eggs may be located; all places are dog oriented of course. Starting today, we will be hiding one of the amazingly stuffed Easter eggs somewhere in PSJ.  To whomever finds our Easter eggs, please post a photo of where you found the egg, along with you and hopefully your furry friend; be sure to tag us in it!!
