We are going out with a 💥BANG💥 for Jetta’s final litter and as usual, I’m ridiculously excited.

Expecting offspring to be suitable for sport homes and active family companions, although sport homes do take preference. This litter will be entirely black and we do have the opportunity for long coats.

As of now my waitlist for males is full. I have one spot available for females. This will be the last chance at an extremely special Jetta baby so if you’re interested, I suggest reaching out. Jetta notoriously has smaller litters, so I’m expecting her to follow suit this time as well. My waitlist is being kept small for that reason but may reopen if she surprises me with more puppies than expected.

Pregnancy will be confirmed 09/09.

Jetta was successfully bred to Hugo yesterday! This was an extremely last minute decision as I originally had decided to skip this heat cycle but then changed my mind this past Monday. 😂

This potential litter is bittersweet as it will be Jetta’s last litter before she’s retired. I am so beyond excited for the things this pairing could bring to the table.

I do believe I have 1-2 openings for females on my waitlist. My male waitlist is full for now, but may reopen depending on how many puppies we expect. We will confirm pregnancy at the beginning of September.

Welcome the newest addition to my personal pack, Ixy. I’m helping out another breeder by giving this sweet girl a soft place to land for now. She is a 10 month old AKC working line German Shepherd with a lovely pedigree.

Ixy will be searching for a new home over the upcoming months! I need to evaluate her further to help me decide what type of home she’ll thrive in.

I drove Arc up to Tennessee yesterday to his new home. I could not be happier for him. This transition has been pretty seamless for him and he’s thriving so far. This is the home he deserved from the get go, and I’m so thankful and thrilled that he gets the chance to have it now.

For those who don’t know, Arc is from my A litter. He was returned to me last year in poor physical condition and with a major fear of people. He came such a long way with me and now finally gets to embark on his new journey in a loving home of his own with 2 other Shepherd sisters, of whom he’s actually related to!

I cried like a baby leaving him, but I know he is in the best hands and he will be so spoiled.

Arc went for a swim today! There’s nothing this dog loves more than swimming & food. 😂

Arc may be embarking on his new journey in just 2 short weeks. I’m soaking up what time I might have left with this special guy.

Happy Gotcha Back Day, Arc Bark!

A year ago today I picked up Arc from the transporter. He has made so much progress, both physically and mentally and I couldn’t be more proud of him. I’m forever thankful I’ve been able to make up for a crappy 6 months of his life, and I’ll continue to ensure he is always loved and spoiled, as he absolutely deserves, for the rest of his life.

He’s totally naked in his full Summer coat now, and still a total string bean, but he’s a happy, healthy string bean. 🫛

At 8.5 months old, Bossier is smack dab in the middle of the puppy uglies. He has been tracking twice per week for the past few weeks. The amount of natural tracking talent this young lad has is phenomenal.

When I first got into GSDs and IGP in 2019, I hated tracking and had such a mental block towards it. Now I really enjoy it, and find it so fun.

Amtrak is still pretty new to tracking. Life got in the way, per usual, and I dropped the ball on his tracking. We’re back at it, though, and he’s doing wonderfully. We track 6 days a week, as weather allows. Hoping I can have him ready for an IGP1 come November!

Arc is an almost 2 year old, AKC registered, working line German Shepherd looking for his person. He is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, intact, and is health tested. He is SV normal/normal, LUW 0, & DM clear.

Arc was returned to me May of last year in horrible condition and has made a great turn around with me, both in his physical condition and his behavior.

Arc can be scared/unsure of people. However, he’s typically fine if people are neutral towards him/ignore him. He’s made a lot of progress on this and warms up to folks much quicker now than he used to, but introductions must be correct, slow, and done on his terms.

At home, Arc is a fantastic companion. He is crate trained/potty trained in my house. He’s a big lover and bonds very closely with his person and LOVES attention. He gets along fine with female dogs, but can be pushy/inappropriate. He has been for on leash hikes with another intact male and is curious initially, but settled nicely into neutrality. Arc walks decent on a leash (I’m currently working on this with him), and he knows how to sit, lay down, go in a kennel/crate, and bark on command.

I could see him participating in things such as scent work, dock diving, etc. He has extreme food drive and medium/high ball drive which would could likely be built up, as his siblings all have great drive.

No fee. However, I will be picky. He had a rough start to life and deserves the world. I will not let a human fail him again. Located in Northeast Texas. Transport can be arranged.

Arc and Amtrak went for a hike today! Arc has come such a long way in the almost year I’ve had him back. I’m grateful that, even though he didn’t get the start in life he deserved, his good genetics shine through and have allowed him to make remarkable progress.

From the nervous, scared, scraggly, hairless, ear infection ridden boy to a happy, healthy, handsome, more confident boy. 💚

Bossier (B litter, Jetta x Airick) had his very first track this past weekend! Lots of natural ability. Really excited to dive further into this phase with him now!

Arc had another rough vet visit, not that it’s surprising. Poor guy just lacks socialization skills horribly. In other news, he did great wearing his muzzle for the first time and the best part, his ear cytology came back CLEAR! We celebrated with a pup cup. 🥳

We’ve been busy here! Getting our young dogs off food lures and progressing with heeling!

The main reason I attended a day of the Mike Diehl workshop today. Bluff is working on cleaning up her outs and less chaotic behavior when it comes to the out. Lots of progress made today. Hopefully an AS1, GPr1, and IGP1 for her this year!

Amtrak got to come play at a workshop with Mike Diehl this weekend! When I mentioned he was from my A litter, Mike told me I did a good job with the pairing. Super stoked about this young fella. 🤩 Coming up on 9 months old! He’s the bi-color in the blue harness.
