What exactly is an SLH Cheese Chew? I am glad you asked!

You may have heard of a Yak Chew or a Himalayan Chew... if so they are similar. The difference is I use local skim milk and make them by hand right here in Chesterton, Indiana. I also designed them to be softer than those other kind. No one wants any broken teeth on their dog.

My cheese chews are about 5 inches long and an inch thick. They simply are a piece of cheese that is aged and hardened. It is a solid chew that is great for dogs to be entertained with for a while and also help with dental health. I have found that some dogs who don't like to chew on bones or antlers will gladly enjoy one of my cheese chews.

Each chew takes 1/2 gallon of local skim milk to make and the process takes about week from start to finish. I make each cheese chew with lots of love and care, just like you would!

This would be a GREAT time to try one of my SLH Cheese Chews because 20% of all my online sales are going to benefit New Beginnings International Sporting Dog Rescue for the rest of this month.

Thank you ! I restocked Tammie's Dog Service's & Training LLC today with Beef and Shrooms bone broth and SKH Cheese Chews. Since you asked... Tammie's is now stocking my SLH Turkey Treats and SLH Cranberry Recipe dog biscuits! They also carry pints of fresh SLH Kefir.

🚨 Now Hiring: Full-Time General & Lateral Applicants & Reserve Officers 🚨

The Hobart Police Department is now accepting applications for full-time police officer positions. Eligible candidates must be in good physical condition, have a high school diploma, and be at least 20 years old but under 40 at the time of appointment. Candidates who are 40 or older must be current members of the Indiana Municipal Police & Firefighters Pension Fund.

Interested applicants can apply online using the link below. Applications will be accepted until February 28th.

The physical agility test, written examination, and panel interviews will be conducted on Saturday, March 8th at the Hobart Police Department.

Applicants who have successfully graduated from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (or an out-of-state equivalent) and have one year or more of experience as a full-time police officer are exempt from the physical agility and written assessments.

Dog walker\sitter for your FUR BABY

Hello, my name is Tammie, I would like to say thanks for reading my story. I have loved animals ever since I was a child. My work life was hard to provide them enrichment of walks, potty breaks from long shifts, or crated in a crate over 6 hours. My mind was always worrying.

I learned more about dogs 6 years ago after adopting a dog from a rescue Guardians of the Green Mile (GOTGM). I wanted to do things right with my new Puppy. Then we became foster parents for dogs that needed homes. When I became a foster my 1st dog was a mamma dog that lost her puppies and had a hard life and previously returned from her new adopted family. She is from Chicago Animal Control Center (CACC) and they offered free training with her adoption. Well as her foster mom we also qualified for free training. Ever since then my inspiration was in full bloom of wanting to help other dogs or animals that were being miss treated or just at home alone. That’s when I started to get involved with a positive dog trainer at Patient Paws Positive Dog Training. Since then I have enrolled and currently studying with Karen Pryor Academy to earn my Certification in Positive Dog Training.

I want to offer the same to others. My inspiration to start my own business helping others came from me having an unease mind while at work. Wondering what was my fur babies doing at home while I was at work 7 hours a day, and my spouse gone 12 hours a day. So I quit my part-time job and now started a new journey.

I want to build a great clientele and provide them with a service that eases their mind of someone coming into your home and walking your dog safely in public, in his/her neighborhood. If you dog just needs a potty break because its owner is at work for a long day. If the dog owner wants to have a weekend get away, instead of boarding, leave your fur loved one at home and hire a dog sitter to provide you with full service to your animal with love and care safely.
