I was born in sunny, Laguna Beach California and moved to Indiana before turning a year old. I went to Central Elementary School, Myers Elementary School, Fegely Middle School, and graduated from Portage High School. I received my Bachelor of Science degree at Purdue North Central University, a Master of Arts degree in Education with an minor in reading at Indiana University Northwest, and my cert
ification in Art (grades 1-9) from Valparaiso University. I have taught grades 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the regular education classroom for 14 years and the last 14 years teaching art education to grades K-5. I like being involved in my community! I am a member of the Portage Tri Kappa, attend Real Life Community Church, a member of the Art Education Association of Indiana, a member of the Art Institute of Chicago, a member of the Portage Association of Teachers, and a committee member for the Porter County Arts A Budding Exhibit at Valparaiso University. I support Relay for Life (ACS) and the Pink Ribbon Society (Yeah, I Fight Like A Girl against Breast Cancer). I am married to Mr. Ray Nadolski, a computer systems analyst, and we have two beautiful daughters, Sarah and Megan. Also living at our house are1 cat -Cashmere and a black Standard Poodle named "Jude the Dude". My family likes reading together (especially Harry Potter), going to the beach, catching a movie at the Portage IMAX (I love Tim Burton movies), or havipainting. I look forward to an exciting year of ART in 2019!
