A total count of 56 live and healthy baby Solomon Island Ground Boas!

One of my Solomon Island Ground Boas gave birth over the last few days. 40+ babies and she is still delivering. This is a difficult species to breed successfully with a high mortality rate. The fact I've gotten this far is a major accomplishment but the next month will be critical.

Fun fact, I didn't catch that she was giving birth right away so I've had a few babies pop up around the room. I could literally have no more running around secretly or I could have 20. Who knows but it's an adventure. These babies weigh in at 4-5 grams and 6-7 inches in length.

First and foremost, I want to apologize for my absence. Right before COVID, and then with COVID, my life made a lot of changes that prevented me from being invested in my h**p passion. I'm back and slowly rebuilding.

Changes are happening(including a potential name change) and I'm excited! Here is a picture of an Orange Splash Back Dart frog from my own collection to kick off this new stage.
